Decided to become a Patron of his, his stuff is awesome. The world would be a worse place without his stuff.

Enjoyed the doom stuff in 1080p on my telly, but there's a something a little dry and stretched out about it, a bit "man goes about and talks about things". Perhaps too easy to agree with? I think he could be more challenging and less friendly.

I guess whilst he's establishing the show he has to be nice otherwise people aren't going to be willing to be part of his documentary?

That makes sense, I guess his opinions are best left to YouTube and people like Charlie Brooker.

Also, the series isn't really supposed to be a critique of DOOM, it's a documentary about the making of it.

Love the stuff that is being created by this. I'm big in to gaming documentaries of good quality and these are definitely my kind of thing. I'll watch the new one in the next few days.

I've really enjoyed the latest episode on accessibility.

So many insights and povs that I'd never really consider as an able bodied gamer, but so much of it just comes down to allowing the end user the choice to play and consume things their way. I really hope the increase in interest from big developers in accessibility sticks and becomes the norm, because it could well result in better games for all of us, and at the very least, the same games that can be enjoyed by more people.

Yeah agreed watched that over breakfast yesterday. Totally agree about subtitles - I put them on for when I've got podcasts on and some fonts are near illegible on a 50 inch TV.

The latest documentary on Bethesda and Fallout 76 has just made me want to go and replay Oblivion, and that's it's probably the last Bethesda development game that I properly enjoyed.

The docs are consistently awesome. I'm not a Patreon type of guy, but if anyone would get my support it'd be noclip.

Apart from me living on savings as I slowly build up a career as a freelancer. I probably could throw them a few pounds a month but really, I have other priorities at the moment. In the future maybe!

So the public pays him to produce puff piece documentaries for major studios? Have things with his interview subjects ever got testy/interesting/journalistic?
