Don't know too much about the guy although I have seen him in the odd Gamespot video and he didn't come across as a fake. (One of those types that don't really seem to like gaming but are using it as a vehicle to be a celeb like that knob from IGN's Beyond podcast.)

Anyway was listening to the P.S. I Love you podcast on my way home and right now and he is the guest co-host and the first 20 odd minutes is him talking about NoClip.

Danny is very old school. He's using the patron money to make sure he never has to take any ad money, which I have to respect.

Watched part 1 this morning, pretty good. I wish there were more mature gaming documentaries out there in the mainstream. Stuff like this is what they should be making for TV instead of the god-awful Go 8-bit gooseberry fool.

Watched Doom part 1 and it was pretty cool. Subscribed.

Part 2 was an excellent lecture into game design by the id guys

Part 2 was even better. Loved it.

Well that was another great series. Part 2 was probably my favourite. Looking forward to the extended interviews and behind the scenes stuff.

I hope we get the extended Hugo interview but I fear it's probably like 15 hours long

He's a very charismatic chap who definitely seems to take the know your audience thing to heart. Thank God they gooseberry fool canned call of doom.

Really thoroughly enjoyed the interview with Mick Gordon at the end of the third part - getting an insight into the soundtrack and how it was made was really cool. Great to see him namedrop the Perfect Dark soundtrack as well - my all time favourite videogame soundtrack.

Yup, that was great. He could have done a whole episode just chatting to Hugo though, what an interesting guy.
