They boosted up the S version to 1080p (up from 900p)

I love the contrast from the rainy Misty Valhalla.

I also would love an Origins update.

1,574ish days after making the thread, I made a start on the game. It's good! Starter areas completed after getting my ship sorted.

irl lol at Cyclops's reaction to the sheep running away with his eye up its sheep bum.

Does the game have mythical beasts?

The correct choice, the voice actor does a great job. You can get an armor set which is basically Wonder Woman's costume at one point.

Started playing this after owning the game but never playing it. Absolutely love it. I've done the main quest and bought the DLC as I like it so much.

My only gripe is the speed limit on the horse in towns. That's probably the only flaw I can really think of from my gaming tastes. Definitely my fave AC since AC2. I loved Black Flag but just prefer this slightly more, perhaps because it feels like it's actually further back in history and feels slightly closer to AC1 from a time perspective.

Oh one more flaw. I really wish they went back to having proper historical location explanations. I really loved that in AC2. Its just a tiny bit of text on the map in this which is a shame. But I've spent a lot of time reading about the historical characters and locations on wiki so I guess it isn't needed anymore.

Absolutely loved the ending and how you kind of have a bit of a mop up after the main quest has ended to tie up loose ends. I think some people would feel its an understated ending but I really liked it. It makes me want to play some of the shitter games in the series like Unity or the London one.

The graphics style is amazing.
I'd love to see a remake on a top end PC as I thought the game looked amazing on PS4 Pro.

They wouldn't even need to do all that much, just up the fps to 120 and add in Dolby Vision they don't even need to go for fancy pants RT.

That'd look superb.

Im just coming to the end of Origins. Is Odyssey an improvement?

The one thing that struck me most about Origins compared to much of the earlier games was the "horizontality" of the environements - very little emphasis on parcouring/ climbing.
