Yes I saw this on HotUKDeals ;)

Edit: it doesn't wipe out any days remaining for the month on your current subscription either.

Sky really are screwing over their existing customers who do nothing.

What happened when you cancelled or threatened to cancel various sky services again KK? i know youve gotten rid of sky sports but what happened with the rest?

They offered me 30% off the whole lot straight away which I turned down.

I kept the phone and Fibre broadband though at £26.40. They've now lowered the Fibre to £10 for all customers but mine doesn't include the 25GB data cap.

Did you call up saying that you wanted to leave sky entirely?

I did. I dropped the bombshell I wanted to cancel the whole lot. I then had to put up with a 20 minute mini interview on what I like to watch, what my favourite programmes/channels are, why am I cancelling...

For the broadband I just mentioned BT and Virgin. They couldn't match Virgin's price though, and they refused to budge on the Fibre Pro. In fact the guy on the other end tried to make out it wasn't worth the money anyway (it's £30).

Shouldn't need any deals the basic Entertainment pack is all you need. A shame it's just lost The Daily Show but there's a crazy amount on there.
