I've enjoyed Josh's story arc. I like how the writers discarded the "rugby lad" persona as it clearly wasn't believable. "Doing it for my nan" *camera pans to photo of deceased grandmother* is a far better fit for him.

I'm not sure the baking is up to some previous standards but the show is still fun. Haven't seen this week's yet.

I'm enjoying this a lot, but I've only ever watched this season and the last one. I'm very late to GBBO. Is it worth watching previous seasons back now?

Back when the show was cakes, drama, Mel, Sue and lovely bakers.

I've never seen it on C4. I decided that watching people baking wasn't worth having to watch the adverts.

Paul Hollywood is continually stalking the tent like a giant stalky thing. There's a bit of sexual tension between him and yer woman.

Can't they afford to move out of the tent? Or is it for a practical reason? Does Paul Hollywood bake in tents? Is he a nomad?

Perhaps not the best quality final. I just wish Tasha had got there, I reckon she would have done a lot better than Dan.

Really felt for Dan, he just fell apart and didn't show the best of what he can do at all.

Dan had a really bad week, the pressure clearly got to him. Josh was robbed, IMO.

He probably deserved it overall but fell at the final hurdle. You could tell he was fuming at the end.

Was rooting for Dan but he had a bit of a shocker. Found Josh quite dull so happy with Matty winning.
