Oblivion Help: Most All-rounded race

Hey, I'm going to start a new story/campaign on Elder Scrolls:Oblivion and i want to know what is the most all-rounded race , So that they are good/average in everything e.g Sword ,Magic, Bow&Arrow , Sneaking. Thank you in advance for your help

A Dark Elf sounds like it would suit you, they have a good balance of blade, destruction magic and marksman. They all have their specialities, but in the end it doesn't really matter what you choose- a wood elf might be a more proficient sneak at level 1 than a nord, but by level 10 they may well be the same. I'd simply pick the one you like the look of best and has the skill bonuses you're most interested in.

Dark elf is the best for battlemage characters arguably.

Is this worth playing again now, or is it too technically shoddy these days? Oh, and does a hard drive install speed it up?

I always went for the lizard one, as they can breathe underwater.

It can be made to look pretty snazzy with a few mods. There are gameplay-improving mods too.

I have it on 360. I think my PC would collapse trying to run it with decent settings!

Any race that makes a cool vampire. Damn Orcs are ugly. :lol:

HD installation does speed it up by about 1.5times. Still looks amazing too, really must get back into this.

I read the title of this thread as Most All-rounded face, as in requesting help making a character who isn't hideously ugly, as with most of the people in Oblivion.
