Hopefully you didn't play GTA Online at launch then. I did. Wiped my character... twice.

Lord help me I powered through what got cut out of my save last night, it's a puzzle game really so once you have the puzzle's figured out it's easy to redo. I'm now in the endgame. Should get it beat tonight.

That looks worth skipping. I like Giant Bomb plenty, but they are generally godawful demoing puzzle games.

I just bought this and first impression is why the hell aim for 60fps if the game never reaches it? It's a stuttery mess.

EDIT: 2nd impression is it's a great looking game and maybe stuttering mess is a bit over the top, but I really expected better from a game essentially built for last gen hardware. JAW tend to give their games tons of post release support though, Strangers Wrath improved a lot with patches, I really hope they get this game running at 60fps, the rest of the presentation deserves it.

So the general consensus is that this is good, but needs patching to sort out a few issues/bugs?

Why is there no warning when you're going to a new area on this? Just had 50 modukons killed because the game thought it appropriate to not warm me...

Apart from the enormous sign saying "You leave and all Mudokuns on this floor die!" as you're just about to leave the area, yeah?

There wasn't a sign. At least not next to the exit. I'm playing on hard, does that make a difference?

The sign I'm referring to, next to the exit -

Difficulty wouldn't make a difference. In the HD remaster the sign is even bigger.

There is a sign, but it's draped in shadow, and you can't even see it when you're stationary on the path you have to go on.

Anyways. Is there a way to get all the mudukons without a guide? Feasably? Because I searched everywhere in the first area and still missed like 15 of them.

It's certainly less visible than the old version, isn't it? I knew it was coming having played it, though.
I was going to say 'use a guide from the first game' but then I remembered there are 3 times as many in the remaster. Maybe the locations are still the same, though?

There's a bunch of secret trap doors that the game doesn't even tell you exist. I only got those because I watched half of a guide video.

I have no idea where the others are.

Are you saying I'm meant to have xray eyes that can see through barrels and know that there's a trapdoor there? When the game hasn't even introduced them?

Many of the secret areas at the start require the use of skills that aren't introduced until later in the game, they're not really supposed to be doable on a first playthrough.
