Most of the big hitters of this current generation are predominantly single player games, half of which have some online elements.
However I can't help but feel disappointed it's a shame that it does not support that feature (if at all confirmed) it's supposed to be a next gen console you would almost expect it to stream content and interface with four of those new controllers, the new console not even out yet and it's already exposed hardware incapability, but we all know Nintendo's very frugal when it comes to development costs so it should not come as a major surprise. And this appear hypocritical (as it seems they're trying to target core gamers with their new console) but decent local multiplayer has always played a major element with the Wii and Nintendo's philosophy in general. I could imagine local multiplayer mario-kart, the second screen can be used for the map, rear view mirror and power ups, and other in game applications like local multiplayer for a RTS (like that ruse demo on the Microsoft surface), as well as footy and other types of sports games. Ah well, hope that they'll be a great online service.
Still though, the HD Zelda
