Well it's interactive at the very least, I don't think that guarantees that it's real time though.

I think people only expecting a small bump from the Nextbox will be in for a shock, look at NGP for starters the handheld war has not put Sony off sticking to their DNA and going for power. 360 is going to be at least seven if not eight years old by the time Nextbox appears, even for a reasonable price they will be able to put something together that blows 360/PS3/WIIU away with ease.

If the demo was real time... can either xbox or PS3 do anything like that?

Could showing off a game which looked like that good, now have backfired if it made all the ports look underwhelming? Wouldn't want devs saying only first party sells...

Theres a video somewhere that shows people moving the camera around.

Its not CGI as you mean it (pre-rendered)...but that doesn't mean you could make a real game quite up to that quality either.

First of all it's the vita, second of all that proves nothing.

Because when they make an actual game they have to have the system be doing other things, not just rendering the graphics.

Also although you could look around, it was only from set points. Having it look like that and be able to freely move around the camera anywhere isn't necessarily possible (though thats not to say it might not be possible).

Of course it proves something, the approach of the DS has not changed what Sony did spec wise with their handheld, fact. I don't see why that will not be applied to PS4. Microsoft are not going to be left in a position inferior to PS4.

The rumour is that WiiU has a 4*** series ATi custom GPU, that's already 2 gen old as of today, by the time Nextbox and PS4 appear it will be at least three if not four gens behind.

If you look at the tech of where UE is supposed to be going, I thought it looked great, but there were people out there saying that demo wasn't that big a jump over where we are now.

I think thats the kind of jump you can expect to see, it'll be noticable...but nowhere near the size of the jump forward as it is back to PS2 era stuff.

You mean they are the same thing.

R700 chip series powers the HD4*** series cards.

Worth mentioning that the 360 GPU is based on an upgraded R520 architecture, having some developments incorperated into the R600 series and therefore is 1-2 generations behind the proposed Wii U GPU.

I'd imagine that even if it is based on the R700 chipset, it'll incorperate later developments in some ways.

I can't really understand why they didn't show off the WiiU with some graphically impressive and innovative gameplay. It would have created a far bigger buzz.

They should have tried to get either Zelda or Pikmin demo'd on stage.

They clearly aren't ready for that.

If it really is coming out May next year, then expect some of that stuff later in the year in Japan.

If its at the end of next year, they might well wait till next E3 to really show a lot of stuff from Nintendo and third parties.

Thats just naive.

They had to show it now, its normal to show off a system at E3 way before theres real software ready for it.
