Hoping for:

Visuals a clear mark above the 360 (although not expecting miracles here)
An online service provided by some who knows what they're doing (if they got Valve onboard with that it'd be amazing - I'd buy it as a dedicated Steam player alone). Even advice from a company that knows what it's doing would be good.
A decent amount of internal storage so as not to completely screw any chances of a decent online service
Games

Expecting:

360 level visuals, slightly gimped on account of some of that processing power having to render stuff for the controller's rumoured screen
Online by Nintendo/Gamespy
No support for voice chat/headsets
SD Cards for storage
Token 3rd party 'support'

I have had no real interest in console gaming this gen compared the the previous generation. Obviously there's been a few games I've been sucked into, but goddamn, this Nintendo conference is reverting me back to my 16 year-old self gaming heyday levels of excitement

Three isn't it? Didn't Ubisoft also have a Gamecube screen some months in advance of a game like Rainbow Six?
