I haven't played my Wii in over a year. Last time I tried was with Red Steel 2 and the MotionPlus refused to work on several controllers. Maybe it'll work with one of those Wii Remote Pluses with in-built M+?

I think so too. Steam being the new console's online service would bury Microsofts LIVE, which right now is the only real thing going for the 360.

Not sure if Nintendo would want Steam though as they seem to be putting a lot of effort into the online side of thing themselves for the 3DS. Maybe the Sony hackings have put them off doing it themselves...

They have to have someone else do it. They have next to no experience in providing that eco system. Iwata even said they will look outside for their online service. I hope it's Steam.

Dear Nintendo,

Please make me buy your new console. My latest partner has started to act irrationally and I'm not sure she's enough for me anymore.

If you impress me today, we'll pretend the last five years never happened and move on from there.

Love always x

It looked to me like they were going to attempt something with the 3DS, but I guess there is no reason why Steam couldn't be patched into 3DS after a megaton Cafe announcement.

Seems a bit daft to spend millions creating something that's already available too use afterall.

It might light up Red upon the announcement.
