Such an almighty clanger on their PlayStation Classic pullout...

I mean they’ve got the quote right, but Murray Walker isn't in the game whatsoever. The commentator is an American whose audio was then partially reused for Monster Trucks. Or maybe that was DD2.

(Fake edit, it was Destuction Derby 2).

So Tetris Effect gets a perfect score, but doesn't make their GotY list?

Pullouts are the reason I don't buy this anymore. What's the point in buying it as a souvoner if the best bits are in a separate mag?

Especially annoying when it's the E3 issue.

Tetris Effect is getting some great reviews.

It's really making me think of jumping in with a PSVR, as I already have RE VII and Wipeout anyway.

I just worry it might end up like another piece of unused gubbins, next to the DK bongos and the cardboard fishing rod.

No calender! No strawberry floating calender! I was expecting a strawberry floating calender!

I am not pleased.

So it's only retro gamer that gave out a calender.

Anybody know of any other game magazine that's giving away a calender?

Having just completed the trilogy I have to say that Spyro score is pretty generous!

Encouraged by the Tetris Effect and Beat Saber scores. Will definitely look to pick both of those up soon for some PSVR action.

There's a Nintendo calendar with Edge.

Yeah, having looked over all of the reviews in the issue, fry, it feels like many were higher-rated than I would have expected. But, hey, this will always be personal opinion and, as ever, it's better to read the text than worry too much about the overall score awarded.

TLOU 2 is included in the huge feature on games due to be released in the coming year... but, yeah, the game doesn't have a lot of dedicated coverage; just about a page. I quite like the hand-drawn cover; it's nice to see some original art rather than the usual stock images. I believe this is the second (or third?) year that they've taken such an approach for the January preview issue.
