Yeah, but if you save them, you get the awesome Hypnotise Big Daddy plasmid.

I have that! I'm sure I do...

Will report back with solid info in a bit.

You get that for saving the first 3, then you get the upgrade after saving 9.

Oh no! My secret is out!

Still not been able to check, but I'm sure I have a hypno something ability. Maybe I got it for researching Big Daddies?

Just checked. Nope, I don't have it. Maybe it appeared during the mission where the active plasmid is foisted on you... I definitely recollect seeing the name before.

You're nearly there. Have you played 2?

Nope. But first one has been way too much fun to not give second game a shot. Will start it once first one is done.

I'm up to Olympus Heights and not sure if I can keep going. I always get fatigued around Hephaestus. It doesn't help that the sound mix is strawberry floated in the remaster, it just makes the game really annoying, it's just this constant wall of noise from splicers, turrets, background audio, etc, it all sounds like everything is about 1 foot in front of you at all times. It gets really irritating after a while.

Also, the little sisters are just walking XP. Maybe if they didn't all look and sound the same you might feel bad harvesting them but screw em. I'm sick of hearing their 5 lines of dialogue!!

2 is good. Minervas den DLC is quality

WTH was that ending?! I read up on the good ending and it isn't much better.

A better bad ending, the one I was expecting: the girls take advantage of main character being knocked to ground, and harvest him alive.

But yeah, other than the pants ending, and the first fetch quest and less than stellar sections here and there, I really quite enjoyed that.

Will start on 2 tomorrow.

Thankfully the bad ending isn't the cannon one.

Well, I saw the humour of my saying Atlas convinced me to harvest  It was interesting but it didn't really make me wish I'd played the game differently, or anything like that.

I know I just thought it was funny you said you didn't like taking orders from NPCs for no reason, when the game is written around it

Just finished episode 2 of Burial at Sea. Wow. Just amazing. Its like a story mind strawberry float and youve got no idea whats happening until it "clicks"

Poor elizabeth :( Stupid twat triggered the events of the first game though right? Atas/Fontaine is great, and to see suchong meet his end was 8-)
Probably the thing I enjoyed most is the music  God damn the music. The song as episode 2's credits roll is lovely.

Its over now :( I hope one day we return to this series. Having played the DLC for 2 as well this is fast becoming my favourite game series.

There's bound to be a 4th game, though I hope it's closer in atmosphere to the first 2 than Infinite.

Deffo. The atmosphere in rapture is spot on, Columbia not so much.

I love how in episode 2 they turned splicers into a real challenge, and the gameplay geared towards stealth works. I've yet to finish it, never played Minervas Den either, easily my fave franchise ever.
