Yes! My ignorance is finally paying off!!

Funny thing: My highest viewed YouTube upload is music used in BioShock (Django Reinhardt's La Mer) and, early on in its life, there were quite a few people who'd discuss the game in the comments section. So there's a good chance it did actually get spoiled for me but I didn't realise it, that or I have just forgotten it.

I had the game spoiled for me by a hey ash skit  so I never got to experience it properly.

Finding someone who hasn't had that spoiled in 2016 is like finding someone who hasn't had The Empire strikes back spoiled. I'm legitimately impressed SoK has survived this long

That's a good analogy actually. It is kind of the video game version of it in terms of infamy.

What's the spoiler in Empire Strikes Back? I didn't think Start Wars really had much in the way of twists, did it?

It's alright, Photek, I googled it, now. Huh, I didn't even think that Darth Vader being Luke's father was considered a spoiler. It's just one of those things I always knew so never really thought about. Which I guess this to prove Brer's point.

Played through to Neptune's Bounty...apart from the atmosphere, which is there from the start, this really does take a while to get going eh? I forgot you only get access to the Gatherer's Garden at the end of the first level. BUT, it's still unlike anything else out there in terms of style. The audio-diaries are still the best of their kind and really, really help to sell the world.

Went boring and saved the little sis. I want my hypnotise plasmid.

I've not played much this week so I'm still in Olympus Heights/Apollo Square. Ammo is scarce or in impossible to hack safes and I'm generally getting my ass kicked. It's also FAR FAR creepier than it was before, heard a splicer crying and saying "Steinman will fix me, then ill be better". I've done all I've needed to do and with feck all ammo I gotta kill 3 big daddies (If I want the achievo), I'm hoping I can set some sploicers on them to take some health away.

While in an apartment I came across an entire family dead, a couple and 3 dead little girls, they were dressed like little sisters but the whole scene was disturbing and quite shocking.

This is the scene (it's not a spoiler):

I hope Arcadia's fetch quest was the game's low point. Did not enjoy that at all.

Arcadia wasn't all bad, I actually enjoyed it for the most part, but the ingredients fetch quest was a definite low point for the area and game in general.

Fort Frolic is next. And its amazing.

I've made a start on it. Not the best first impression, though, as the locked doors failed to open on first attempt after taking care of splicers. D'oh, etc. Good to have someone else to listen to other than "Wah! Wah!" Atlas and "Parasites! Parasites everywhere!" Ryan, though.

Yeah Atlas should really man up about his wife and child being killed.

I was being a tad harsh, tbh. He hasn't whined about his dead wife and child for a good few minutes.

But seriously, do we ever see them in the game? Does the game supply us with evidence of their existence?

It's a hard question to answer without spoiling anything. You get to meet some of the people in the audio diaries in game.

The more I play this the more disappointed I am at the lack of bathysphere travel cutscenes :(
