Sawyer Sweeten, who played Geoffrey Barone, shot himself while visiting his family on Thursday. He was 19 years old.
I had no idea that their on-screen sister was also their actual sister.

I am really tired and messed up that post royally, but what I mean is that I never really knew what sort of person he was as he was so young when he starred in Raymond. When the actor who played Frank passed he'd been and acted in so many different things that I felt I knew more about him as a person and I never really had that chance with the younger characters in Raymond since the show was more about the interactions between the adults.
A young man taking his own life, nay anyone taking their own life is tragic. His family must be going through hell right about now. RIP
