The game has a built in screenshot function.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Every time I try and get in on this it says "server offline". What gives?

StayDead and I have pretty much been playing this since about all day and it's been bloody awesome. The only thing is it requires so much micro managing and attention to detail that I genuinely don't think I can be bothered to do it again for a long time. Not because it's boring or anything, just that after spending so long getting my company to where it is, I don't have the heart to start all over again.

Awesome experience though. Haven't played anything like this in a long, long time and have totally forgotten what I've been missing.

This is the problem with it.

Yes it is awesome building up your company to have millions and have an awesome transport network, but then game fatigue sets in.

Leave it a few years and then come back :(

Every time you say that it hurts.

Also, please wait so I can log on and see what's happening and save a copy of the gamestate before you reset it.

Oh and look into creating a bigger map, please.

I want a bigger map on Candyland but have no idea how to set it up. Maybe Winckle will be kind when he has some spare time and look into it for us.

You can see the workings of the server here:

http://pcsupremacy.co.uk/openttd/

It includes screenshots and save files, take whatever you want.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

I took out a loan of over a million pounds  It could have gone horribly wrong, but it hasn't.

Image

The 19k per trip from Aircraft 4 is pretty typical, as is the 40k annual income from Aircraft 2 (edit: seems to have gone up to 124k annual income since taking the screenshot :shifty: ) and as you can see on the upper left corner there are plenty of passengers and mail bags to consider buying even more planes. Should pay off my insane loan in no time

I used to love this game. I really enjoy starting up and all that - it's when it gets to lategame the game gets really tedious. I avoid usng road vehicles because they take so long to replace. So basically, all my games are trains only, and it's a little boring.

In the map yesterday I had about 50 buses for one city that needed replacing, all you need to do is set the go orders for a new one onto the old buses and clone that new bus loads and set them all to go at the same time as they follow the same go to commands.
