Enjoyed those games, people. Had to leave though as the display would just turn black aside from the HUD, spent the last few minutes in one of the matches chasing down red outlines and presumably bumping into walls. :lol:

This wasn't on my radar at all until yesterday but I'm loving it.

Roadhog is the guy I've used the most love his grappling hook ability to pull enemies towards you and special ability is pretty cool.

Hmmm, love the look of it, plays well but it feels like ive already seen it all. Are any more modes planned? I'm not seeing the pull to drop £40 on day 1.

Not always. He's only easy to counter if you know where he is, if it's a good player and he keeps relocating he's pretty damn good.

His damage is pretty ridiculous. Especially for an automatic weapon.

Plus, I had a match last night on the Egyptian level where there was a bastion and Tjorn turret set up right in front of the entrance. It was literally impossible to get in because of how fast bastion can kill you. I had to switch to tracer and get lucky not getting killed at the entrance and flank them. I guess my team was just awful.

After giving it a spin I can come round to it, currently digging Pharah, Junkrat, Winston and Lucio for each respective role. I am concerned over longevity, but knowing blizz I imagine they'll update it pretty frequently.

The ranked competitive mode and seasons isn't going to be in until after launch, so I think what we're seeing with this beta is all we're getting for day 1.

It isn't a good thing. It should be there at launch. But, I'd rather it was late & great than rapid & vapid.

If it's not ready, it's not ready. I'm having a blast with this beta and I still feel like I'm barely started learning the characters and maps, so not having the ranked play in isn't going to put me off. I just hope it doesn't take forever.

You know something I hadn't noticed before is how terrible some weapons are against smaller targets. For example Dva's guns or Genji's throwing stars. Has kind of put me off using them as some characters can run circles around them. Pharah and Roadhog are equally good at taking out any size target.

I started using the monk robot guy and he's really good. Low health, but can heal and hits like a truck.
