Winston and Zarya are two of the most difficult heroes in the game to play well, and Reinhardts can single-handedly throw matches by making just one or two bad decisions.

If by 'tanks' you just mean 'Roadhog' then yeah, tanks are easy.

Even Fatty isn't that easy, really. Tanks are actually quite hard to play, but maybe that's just on PC.

I think Fade plays on console no?

I agree with Karl. I'd say Roadhog is one of the simplest characters in the game. He's basically just the hook.

I must just be good with tanks then.

I have above average win percentages with most of them.
Winston is the only one I struggle with because of his low damage. You can kind of only pick on 200hp and below characters.

Where as some of my attacking heroes are at 30% win percentage :dread:

Winston's a banana split because he has to much health. I had like a 3 minute dual with him as McCree, only for him to Ultimate just as I was about to kill him. :x

But McCree can kill him with like, 2 fan the hammers.

Zenyatta can out damage him too.

I only really use him to take out snipers.

Winston's all about disrupting the enemy's rear (ohmy.jpg). Leap in, drop your shield, dance with some supports or snipers, leap out. Melting their Mercy or Lucio is great, but the real value is in the distraction -- their whole team turning around to deal with you.

If you hit with every bullet, and he doesn't use his shields or pick up health.

But Karl is right. I should have just let myself die or run away. He kept me off the payload for ages.

I think being an agro sponge is true of any tank, really. Except maybe Roadhog, but he's more of a tanky offense than an outright tank.

Did they accidentally buff Zarya's damage? I'm getting melted when she's at 0%

Unless it's not displaying her % properly on the kill cam.

Sure, agreed, I see Winston/D.Va/Zarya/Reinhardt as all filling fundamentally 'tanky' roles in somewhat different ways, on a kind of spectrum from 'look behind you, too late bye' diving distractions to 'get behind the rectangle' damage mitigation. I really like all the tanks in the game -- apart from Roadhog, of course...

Fatty reminds me of Butcher in Heros of the Storm. Butcher is an Assasin which squashes squishies, like Roadhog.

wow, just heard someone call someone else a racist word

Over team chat, thats a first, heard people rage but never resort to biggotry.

Thought the art style and general theme of the game would keep away peoeple like that.

Roadhog is my go to character when I'm paired with gooseberry fool team mates generally :icon_lol: . I've found Pharah the hardest one to get to grips with... enemy Pharahs can sometimes be a real pain. She's at her best when she's in the air, so if you can be accurate with your rocket shots while flying that's the key... unfortunately I prefer to be on terra-firma.

I think the formula behind competitive has decided I don't belong where I am. W3 D1 L1 tonight and only gained 30 SR overall.

Winston can be really disruptive to Reinhardt as well. His Tesla Cannon goes through Reinhardt's shield, making Reinhardt even more difficult to play.

I've gotten quite good with Reinhardt and I'd have to agree with Karl as well. It is extremely frustrating to have a Rein in your team that does a bad shield drop or a charge into other side of the map. Reinhardt requires a lot of situational awareness, not just of enemies but also their ultimates and the teammates' positioning.

They're finally adding a server browser to the game. Thanks to this I doubt I'll ever touch comp or quick play ever again.

Seems to be taking way longer to actually find a match on PC lately.
