I've been playing a lot of the 6v6 Random Heroes in Arcade mode today and I've loved it, playing as heroes I never normally pick. I'm actually getting a fondness for Zarya from it :slol:

Though I strawberry floating hate ending up with Genji, Hanzo or Widowmaker. I just can't play them at all.

Killing people always helps. New update is changing damage counter to damage done to heroes counter so bubble feeders don't get rep

Yeees. She's legit my fav. Even when you're not getting damage or directly contributing to the objective you're getting positive feedback from the damage soaked and charge acquired. If you're even halfway good with her, you're constantly getting little victories. She's great.

Just have fun, at the end of the day it's still just a game. Unless you're in the Top 500 or something it really doesn't matter.
Having said that, don't be a dixk and just stick with the character you want. Be flexible depending in the team comp. If you're maining tank or Healer you probably won't have an issue there though.

Probably going to jump on competitive when I get home for the Double XP

The quality step up in competitive is very noticeable on PS4. The increase in challenge does make it enjoyable I have found.

Sometimes it is better to mess about in quick play though.

Playing a normal team comp well is much more viable defence than stupid gimmicks with Bastions or turrets IMO.

It's usually effective for about two minutes. If the attackers are able to push through just once then the defenders are usually strawberry floated unless they switch.

We played a game last night which illustrated it exactly. As soon as the initial prepared defense had to move off its line it was game over for them. Perhaps on consoles you dont have quite the aim agility to get around or behind and kill in a timely fashion.

Yeah Bastion is great on defence when you're needing to defend a Payload, but as soon as the payload is lost and the objective is mobile he's more or less useless.
And he's useless on Attack all the time.

Doesn't stop people picking him for Attack or refusing to switch on Defence though.

I was on earlier today alright. But now even launching the Blizzard app takes ages.
Restarted my entire PC and its now hanging for ages on Entering Game.

Edit - And now kicked me to a login screen with a lost connection to server error.
Wonder if the servers are just getting battered with the Double xp weekend

Christ this game confuses me. Golds on dps, lose. Golds on tank, lose. Just had a 3 game loss streak until I went Zen, gold gold elims and gold healing and finally got the win.

I dont understand how you can go qp and have random joke picks and have fun close games, but just changing the mode to comp means nobody is able to play anymore. Its extremely odd. Change the mode, forget how to play.
