From OXM US's Crystal Ball:

The Ball reveals three red lights arranged in a familiar pattern shining in the dark at the upcoming E3, but it has nothing to do with Xbox 360 hardware failures.

I always thought the Splinter Cell goggles were mainly green.

They are usually green, but the quote says the pattern of the three lights is familiar rather than the colour, you see. Just a guess though!

I hope it's a Matrix-based game where you get to fight off Sentinels.

Which Splinter Cell is that picture from? I don't think i've ever seen him with Red lights before.

I'm putting my money on a proper reveal of the next Splinter Cell. The fact that it says shining in the dark pretty much seals it i think. Sam's supposed to be all change for the new Splinter Cell, if it is him, maybe he's gone down a moer evil route(hence the red instead of Green)

To be honest, i really can't think of anything else it might be.

It's about time we see more of Splinter-Cell: Conviction! It's still in development and released in 2010 is it not?

I wonder what it will look like now? It's probably going to be completely different to what we last saw.

Personally I want Splinter Cell to be good but professionally I would love it to be gooseberry fool.

I remember playing SC1 on the XBOX.

I was really astonished by the curtain psychics.
