Pacman Redesign

I'm doing some research on book covers redesigns for my course, as I have to produce six myself. Found this though during my search, I think it's a pretty cool angle on the game, thought I'd share it.

Looks like the cover for the strategy guide of the game of the cartoon based on the movie of the game.

I came up with this mental Suda51-inspired reimagining of Pacman where he's psychotic, having to fend off hallucinated culminations of his inner demons, cheered on by his kindred spirit. The maze was basically Pacman's twisted view of cityscapes. He has to collect pills to keep him from going completely mental, but if you hit rock bottom and run out of medication you end up in this 100% hellish dream world. Similarly if you collect enough pills or a super pill you go into super-awesome-demon-killing mode.

I thought it was interesting. I even did some trippy 1-minute digital paintings but I don't have them all on this computer.

He would be humanoid, with a yellow face, classic Pacman eyes and a ninja costume.

And the graphics where gonna be all hand-painted style with paint dripping everywhere.
