It's today y'know.

So what style of pancake do you go for, crepe, buttermilk or maybe a healthy dairy and egg free buckwheat cardboard pancake?

Also, what are your toppings of choice?

If you don't like pancakes feel free to post about that somewhere else.

I am going to have a wee pancake that sits on top of a rabbit, or should that be a wee rabbit that sits under a pancake?

'Ordinary' pancake - lots of them! Lemon juice and caster sugar. What else is there to put on top of a pancake! :-)

Just drink the wee, eat the pancake and make the rabbit a pet.

Lemon juice (no, not strawberry floating Jif) and caster sugar.
Chocolate ice cream
Maple Syrup. Almost picked up the cheap imitation from Clarks that they've mixed with Carob Syrup. I mean imagine the disaster that would have been...

Thin pancake with sugar and lemon. That's it, accept no imitations.

I've got some lush Bolognese sauce that I made a huge batch of then froze. So I'm going to do Bolognese/cheese stuffed pancakes as a main, maybe grilled with cheese on top to finish.

Then lemon juice (real, obviously) and sugar for afters. The Mrs will have Nutella, I'd imagine.

Of course, there are people, in this part of the world, who have pancakes with corned beef hash. Shudder!

This.

Chilli also works incredibly well.

Normal pancakes, which I guess would be a crêpe with ice cream.

Had a 6-stack of those Kingsmill mini pancakes, heated and drenched in maple syrup. Best breakfast all day.

Chicken tikka masala with the pancakes as a naan bread substitute. Then banana and syrup pancake roll after.

But pancakes are incredibly easy to make yourself and taste way better than that packaged tat.

I'm very disappointed in you.

Is a pancake the same thing as an omelette but with sweet fillings instead of savoury?
