However, pancakes (both USA style and French style) and massively overrated like doughnuts.

That's the recipe I followed this year. A very filling pancake due to the oats so I only had 3.

Crepes are the best, but I agree, the whole lot are hugely overrated. Nice to have once or twice a year, mind.
