Started this this morning only did a few minutes before the baby started bloody crying but seems OK, although I can see the attack card thing getting annoying though.

Yeah, its not a great battle system sadly. Hopefully the next game will revert back to a regular turn based system

I wish you got xp or something out of the fights. I just avoid them where possible as they're so dull now.

So far I have to say the card thing is driving me insane and I can see in a little while it being the reason I pack it in and sell the game off.

Oh good now I have no cards and can't move on.

Yeah so that game can strawberry float off. Whoever though the card system was a good idea was a strawberry floating idiot.

How on earth do you have no cards? I've always got the maximum amount.

You can just run away from most balls too.

Everytime I run he falls over and just get attacked again which of course no use as I have no cards. The game is a strawberry floating joke.

Google says I can buy them from somewhere in the first level, but strawberry float it. I can't be arsed the card thing will just piss me off more and more.

The game can get strawberry floated and live on my shelf.

Without the stupid cards it would be fun, with them it is just a monumental strawberry floating joke.

How far in are you? The game throws cards and money at you and even gives you the means to buy cards even while you're in battle every turn, and that's very early in the game. You must be skipping the dialogue or something to be missing these things.

He's skipping dialogue most likely, he admitted on the podcast he skips that gooseberry fool.

Well if that's the case you can't say the game is gooseberry fool if you're not even making an effort to learn how to play it when it literally spells every mechanic out to you as you go.

You can also use fewer cards to defeat enemies by painting the cards and entering the correct commands to make each attack more powerful. I love smashing a shell through a row of enemies :toot:

Ive actually read the dialogues in this one, since the podcast I've been trying to change my ways and read them.

I'll try he buying card thing but I can see myself giving up as the cards thing is just infuriating.
