Is there a paragon thread? I've never played a moba and I don't have a clue what is going on. Could do with some help.

For example, I'm riding about the "landing phase". When is the landing phase over? Is this something that is actually highlighted by the game, or is the landing phase just a concept?

Do you mean laning?

That's where you're essentially sitting in your lane keeping the creep wave moving, while feeding off the enemy creeps and exchanging blows with your opposing number.

You're looking to just keep near the front line to soak up exp and get beefed up with some levels. The laning phase is usually over by the mid game, where creep exp is insignificant and everyone's getting in 3+ man team fights and jumping from lane to lane.
