They put it back together again :shifty: .
It was only vapourised a little bit.

The one that Self-Destructed in Search for Spock was the original Enterprise from TOS, it was just refit to the new Constitution Design.
The Enterprise-A was a new ship that Kirk was given at the end of Voyage Home. At the end of Undiscovered Country it was ordered to report for decommissioning.

For some reason I thought that one looked a lot different.

Well, it did have an extra "-A" written on it

It just never got a moment like the others did, which is a wee shame. I do like the design of that ship.

Someone just pointed out to me that when the old ships come to save the day, you have have Picard on enterprise, work on defiant and seven on voyager

Riker on the NX-01 would work as well he is very familiar with that ship.

Shaw takes the Titan.

I've not seen any of Picard, but seeing a ship museum picture on Twitter makes me want to watch it for that alone.

Skip S1 and S2 and just watch S3.

Guy at work said the same. Is it even worth bothering with a recap?

Anything you need to know will be covered in a recap before the episodes. You do not need to suffer through seasons 1 and 2. 3 is actually good.

Just read the Wikipedia summaries, but even then there's (so far) pretty much nothing you need to know for S3.

Edit:

If it helps convince you, Taf isn't very impressed with S3. :slol:

Skip 1 and 2.

Picard's dead and in a robot body.

Picard's banging a Romulan House Keeper 50 years his junior because Patrick Stewart.

The woman with the crazy hair is another of Picard's First Officers (post TNG). No one likes her or her storylines. (I feel bad for the actress)

There you go.

I never thought I'd say this about a Trek show but series 1 and 2 of Picard are total gooseberry fool and not worth watching.

They just make me depressed thinking about them.

Technically the actor is only twenty years younger than Patrick Stewart. So she's twenty years older than Patrick Stewart's wife.

Patrick Stewart. What a lad. :datass:

I don't think Season 1 is too bad. Certainly one I can grit my teeth and watch if I have to. Season 2 is one of the worst seasons of TV I've ever watched. It's the worst Star Trek content ever produced frankly.

Seasons 1 and 2 of every Trek show are total gooseberry fool, it's almost a rite of passage!

The problem is Picard had such high expectations that it was even more of a disappointment.
Putting the final nail in the Borg was the low point and even the Q storyline was utter shite.

What an absolutely outstanding episode. I am utterly speechless at how good that was.
