PostPC Freezing with loud noise through speakers

Over the last 4 days my 2 year old PC has been freezing with loud 'corrupt' noise coming through the speakers, once or twice a day. No blue screen, just frozen image, mouse pointer stuck, num lock/caps lights on keyboard not changing when buttons pressed.

I'm not an expert on Windows 7, but based on looking around the internet, have run the Memory Diagnostics Tool and 'Hard Disk Sentinal'. Both found no errors. I've ran MSE and Spybot, again nothing to report. I updated my graphics card drivers. Running Prime95 just now, seems to be running fine.

The freezes have occurred when playing games, watching YouTube, and playing music on Google Play.

What can I do?
