It's not a great sale, in all honesty.

Better this than (more) artificial scarcity and no refunds.

I had a quick butchers last night out of habit and I agree. Not the best.

Looked at my wishlist and plumped for Axiom Verge (because it's cheaper than on Switch) and Planet Coaster.

Not that I'm going to play them anytime soon...

Likewise, I have a considerable backlog and only pick up the odd thing which is very cheap.

They sort of are. Rotated with 2 new ones each month with the rest of the new DLC maps being unavailable to play. Was supposed to unlock a load of different packs too which didn't happen.

It looks like Watch Dogs is free on Uplay at the moment.

Looks like Blizzard are giving out free copies of Starcraft II: Heart Of The Swarm to people who already own Wings Of Liberty.

I just got the One X and am impressed by how small it is and have watched a few teardown (is that a single word now?) videos and most of the inside space is taken up by the disk drives so my question is can a PC or console be made completely driveless?
Are storage cards large enough in capacity to replace hard drives without being insanely expensive and does anyone have or plan to build a PC without any drives?

The thing that got me thinking about is the OX teardowns show that all the main components are on what would be a motherboard with no stuff sticking out so having cards bolted on somehow would save loads of space and require loads less power thus making the power supply smaller as well.

Sorry if this is a daft question but my mind wanders when I'm doing a swimming session.

You can make a PC with huge storage without a mechanical drive for sure, it's just a question of money. Look up PCI-Express style SSDs.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Cheers, I had a feeling it was possible it's just not going to be something that's cheap enough to be mainstream anytime soon.

Anyone playing Squad during the free weekend? I've always fancied it as a sort of more polished looking alternative to Arma 3 but by god was I wrong. It makes Arma looks like a Nintendo game in terms of refinement. Pretty good though, despite the numerous, numerous issues. I didn't get a kill in 40 minutes and only died myself once, but everyone uses comms and plays in squads so it feels super intense and cool as hell. I can only imagine how good it would be in one of those massive clans that organise proper command structures and stuff. Wish I still had time for that sort of thing. :(

Thanks for the heads up. Of course, not sure if I'll actually play the thing.

Yes?

How does Dishonored 2 run now? Noticed it is £6.79 on CDKeys so rude to say no at that price, just need to finish the first game before touching that one..
