Quick question for Steam experts. When I go into my library on Steam it would normally show the last game I've played, but instead it keeps showing Dead Rising 4. Has anyone seen this before and know what needs to be hammered so it does show the last game you've been playing?

Yes?

From memory, click the "Games" heading, then select "Recent".

I've started playing Doki Doki Literature Club, this better be good after all the hype I've been seeing online. It's free on Steam for anyone that wants to give it a try.

What does Doki Doki mean? I remember it from Doki Doki Morning by the glorious Babymetal.

^Yup, I think it's just onomatopoeia. Also, oh gooseberry fool, I just reached some argument where I have to make a decision between the two characters I like.

None of my Windows Store games work after a bloody Windows update. ReCore, Halo Wars 2 and Gears 4 are non-existent when trying to launch them. Uninstalled and downloading again but my god it's hideously slow downloading from Windows, 40 strawberry floating minutes it took for ReCore which is only 16GB :dread: now downloading Halo Wars 2 which is 47GB :dread: :dread: then Gears will be around 120GB :dread: :dread: :dread: strawberry floating joke, and I'd only downloaded Gears again the other day due to problems getting past the splash screen on start up. Ah well should be able to play it within a weeks time...

Apart from not having the money to make my pc good enough to run them well, the fragility of the windows store is the main reason i still have an xbone for forza, recore, quantum break etc, i remember the horror show that was GFWL. At the weekend i got my legit pc version of Dirt 2 working again after having to crack both GFWL and the Securom bollocks as whatever authentication server it looked for clearly no longer existed.

Just finished The Witcher 2. Loved it and it was so much better than the first game (which I also really enjoyed) but I'm not sure whether to start The Witcher 3 or to leave it for a few weeks. Don't want to become fatigued with the gameplay.

Couldn't agree more on this, when MS announced they were going to be developing Xbox Games for Windows and Xbox One I originally got rid of my Xbox One but the shoddy performance and issues downloading things was enough to make me pick up an Xbox One again on the cheap. It's just not worth the aggro, at least I know that they'll work on my Xbox One for as long as I may choose to play them.

I just finished Witcher 2 aswel. What a fantastic game, well, fantastic experience, because honestly the gameplay was a bit of a chore at points. But the story, world, characters and quests were all on point. I started Witcher 3 and DLC immediately afterwards. The gameplay is so much further improved (tho combat is still a bit wonky, but not nearly as bad as 2) upon Witcher 2 that i dont think theres much chance of getting fatigued with it.

What choices did you make in 2? I went down Roches path, saved Anais, and spared Lethos life.

I went with Iorveth and killed Lethos. I never even got to do anything with Anaïs though.

Do the choices make a big difference then? I'd heard they do but I always take that with a pinch of salt when it comes to games having multiple paths/endings.

Roche, Triss, killed Letho.

Roche supremacy

It was an easier choice than the first game, where i ended up taking the neutral path as both the Scoi'atel and order of the flaming rose were assholes, in 2 Roche was way more solid a choice. Letho had to die, things had gone too far by that point for it to end any other way, and it was cool as absolute strawberry float; two witchers laying their cards on the table and sharing a drink before fighting to the death because of the weight of events around them. Also if you pick triss then you end up helping Roche save Anais anyway.

Also now i guess i know why Geralt calls his horse Roach.

Now I just want to replay Witcher 2 instead of starting 3. Just giving whole different areas to explore for making a choice sounds like a bold but awesome move. That path sounds totally different to my own.

I'll play 3 first though and then maybe one day go back and play them all a second time.
