(PCGT V) PC gaming is dead, press F to pay respects

Same gooseberry fool with it not working, I guess it might have something to do with Windows Preview. Ah well.

I updated my driver the other day and it still worked. Certainly sounds like it isn't a driver issue.

Was a Preview Build problem. Updated to the latest Preview Build (16215) and it works fine. Though when quitting the game it doesn't shut it down and you can still hear the menu music playing. Have to use task manager to end it completely.

Already found a bug in the game! One of the first survivors you see in Willamet mall standing on a column surrounded by zombies shouting for help, can't help her. Theres a zombie stuck inside the damn column she's standing on that can't be killed. Nice one :slol:

Well strawberry float you because Take Two have issued a Cease & Desist against OpenIV which was the only publicly available modding tool for the game and declared modding of GTA V to be illegal.

Probably because it's used to data mine all the new content before it comes out and they are salty.

OpenIV doesnt touch MP at all but they said they're doing it to clamp down on cheating in MP.

I hated both companies before this, i hate them even more now.

As Jim Sterling pointed out, Rockstar have actually promoted mods using OpenIV on their own blog. Now all of a sudden they're the worst thing in the world.

its not Rockstar though is it, it's Take 2

I imagine the gta mod community is much smaller than the hordes of people who spend real money in gta online. Profit > community goodwill.

Unfortunately this will make no difference, maybe with GTA VI they'll lose 6 sales. Will they care? Nope.

Rockstar are just as scummy a company as Take 2

Does anyone else have BF1 on PC? I'm having a good time on these new French maps, but it's very lonely.

I do but haven't played for a month or so.

I've rejoined the fold. i7 Dell laptop (I HAD to get laptop...), 16 Gb ram, 512 SSD, 4Gb GTX 1050, installed a 2Tb hybrid. Mmmm, overwatch is different game on PC, running it on ultra it looks great 1080p on the built in 4K IPS
