GRstermind needs to be a forum/podcast game.

Anyone still playing Rising Storm 2 Vietnam? This is the second big update they've released since I last played it so I think it's time I jumped back in.

I've steered away from that strata of relatively indie multiplayer games, they burn out far too quickly - i experienced that with Chivalry and a couple of others

I get what you're saying, but I don't really care. For me time is more precious than money. If I drop £20 on a game and get 10 hours of play out of it, that's fine. Not every game has to be Counter-Strike and last forever.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Sure, the cost/hour ratio works out quite well in that regard. I guess my problem is that i'm not very good, so those 10 hours aren't particularly enjoyable and i'm only starting to get good ok by the time everyone else moves on apart from the highly skilled core.

Yakuza 0 (PC/Steam) - £9.18 with discount code SCHOOLSOUT @ Voidu

Not heard of the retailer myself but they appear on SEGA's approved digital partners list so don't see any reason to be skeptical with purchasing from them.

Having recently completed this game, I can confidently say £9 is an absolute steal and if you're even slightly interested, you should give it a shot. For that price, I might even buy it again just to show support, I'd love for the rest of the series to make its way to PC.

Is anyone here playing Quake Champions? I got it when it was free last month and I'm enjoying it. The dedicated thread here seems dead though...

FFS, just seen that Disgaea 5 won't be released on PC until this autumn.

The game was actually ready in march but was pulled from release due to a "potential security exploit" someone found buried in the game code, how it can take six months to fix is beyond me.

I'd be quite wary of this little caveat,

8Pack's Instructions and help acheiving these speeds can be found on our forum:

To me that basically says "It doesn't actually come overclocked at the speed it says up there, we'll just tell you how to overclock it yourself, but if you strawberry float it up then you're on your own"

It's a good point and I'm unsure of the quality of the AIO cooler. I was hoping to hold out until later this year at the earliest or next year for Zen 2 but my current rig is showing its age and has had a few issues in recent months. The overall saving seems decent vs buying it all separate but man has it got me conflicted.

Seeing the prices on GPUs finally coming down has got me twitchy for an upgrade, but I know I should wait for the new 11 series to be released first before pulling the trigger. It's been 4 years since I built my last PC and I think I'm just getting the urge to do another one...

That's just red orchestra games honestly. RO2 was the most popular and as long as you join a community campaign server you'll get everything you need!

Bridges of Druhzina 24/7 for life 8-) strawberry floating loved that map

That map was good before they patched the damage the german anti tank rifle did to the german tanks. I could an 800m insta kill on a tank. I couldn't see anyhing but a tiny shadow in horizon.

So this is weird, noticed I was getting intermittent stutters recently across all games...

Image

Notice the timestamps, they're all five minutes (give or take a few seconds) from each other!

So I knew it had to be some sort of software with scheduling routines causing this, cue an afternoon full of troubleshooting...and voila, the culprit right here:

Image

Yep, Steam in-game downloads of all things was causing the issue :| Rather gutted since...well, it's a handy option! But much relieved all the same. Might be worth turning off if you ever get a similar pattern of stuttering on your end.
