I like H1Z1 and used to play it regularly, the problem is I've heard conflicting things about which is better. Though I think PUBG is the more popular right now, so you may wanna go with that.

Good man. I've been playing solidly for 6 months and am only about half way through all the levels, and that's not even getting all the gold on them. So much content

Zombie Army is good, but bastard difficult. Not got that far into it but can't get past the defend the church bit when the bastard hard zombies with machine guns turn up. Going to either turn down the difficulty or number of zombies on the next attempt.

Tempted by the Steam Link (And maybe Steam Controller for £35.98 together), anyone use one on here?

Yeah, I own both and am on the fence about recommending either.

I've had mixed success with the Steam Link, it's been okay for stuff that isn't too demanding but for most games I've found it too laggy to be properly enjoyable. I have been restricted mostly to Wifi though, with a little more success using a powerline so if you have a direct ethernet connection you may get better results.

As for the Steam controller, I do like it and it works quite well for strategy games (certainly better than a traditional controller) but it's kind of a funny half-way house between a normal controller and keyboard/mouse and I always feel myself longing for whichever one of the two is best suited to the game.

£7-odd delivery. I'll give it a miss for now. GAME sell them for £11 so I'll pick one up from there next time I'm passing one.

I was playing co-op with my son. Hopefully turning the difficulty down or setting the number of zombies to just 1 player will make it more possible.

The Steam Link is ok. Not great, doesn't do 4K or 5.1 Audio, but for the cost it's pretty good for 1080p streaming. Just make sure it's wired in.

The Steam Controller on the other hand is one of the worst controllers since the Atari Jaguar.

I've sold my controller, didn't really use it and used to get a load of weird issues where it would freeze or the stream would have enough sound or it would crash on the pc and the link would just hang.

All in all not quite right.

The controller is alright I guess takes a lot of getting used to and sort of does everything ok but not brilliantly.

It's a nice idea but I don't really use it and it's sort of meh. You can use a usb 360 controller or a 360 wireless dongle and wireless controller which would be better that the steam controller.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the Steam controller is the need to spend 30-45 minutes configuring it. For every individual game.

If you have a PS4 controller this works great. Just connect with a USB cable or via Bluetooth. Some games support it directly through Steam and for those that don't, just install Input Mapper and it will work.

It's only 45 if you want to make your own mapping, most games have mappings you can download either from the game maker them selves or the community. Just hit the steam key and X under the Congolese options screen.

You can also update it as you go so it isn't really as bad as you make out.

When I used it the Steam controller was no better than a 360 controller if you didn't spend at least some time setting it up properly. Maybe the quality of default bindings has improved since then.

I like the Steam Controller, but after a year I still can't get used to using the touchpad thing instead of an analogue stick, it just feels so cumbersome.

Played some Crysis 1 again last night, still looks really good, even better than some modern FPS games. 2007 game people...

I really disliked them making Bumblebee 'mute like the movies in Fall though whilst he had dialogue in War.
