Looks like a fozra mod. Love DD so I'll keep an eye out for it.

How do people play with that view though? The entire bottom of the screen is taken up with the arse of a car and most of the vision ahead is obscured by the roof.

So that's why it took ages to log in, completely forgot about the summer sale.

Dreading looking at my wishlist :dread:

Not a single "Items on your wishlist are on sale" email.

Can't be arsed to actually go and check.

I've got 8 items on my wishlist on sale, but I'm really not feeling the urge to actually get anything. The more I think of how shitty valve have become the less I want to give them my money.

In other news, Everspace is amazing. I'm really really enjoying it, the flight controls are a joy, it's a true pc game made with the keyboard and mouse in mind (I haven't tried using a game pad yet). The graphics are phenomenal, when you end up in a system close to a planet that takes up the entire screen it really gives a great sense of scale, I really wish I had a VR headset to use for this game.

The challenge though :dread: this game makes Dark Souls look like a cake walk. When you die you start over, not the level, the entire game. You only get to keep your credits that you can use to upgrade your ship. Still the randomly generated systems are varied enough, and if you really want you have the option to just jump from system to system fairly quickly so it's still very fun.

It's great, but keep in mind what it is, it's an arcade game. You can go and modify your ship with perks (critical bonus, increased chance to find more loot etc.), different weapons, and different tools (shields, drones, etc.) but it is not a big open world RPG where you have loads of different missions and NPC's to interact with.

The expansion pack adds some side quests and there are traders and repair shops but overall it's best to think of it as a very action oriented game.

However if that's what you're looking for I highly recommend it.

I bought it. Stupid sexy righty gifs :datass:

I bought a load of VR stuff too as it's normally a bit expensive for my liking. Got the diner duo, a few escape room things and I also bought stevens sausage roll as I love puzzle games and I've heard good things about it.

Steam links on sale for €2.75. Thats the kind of price that makes me want to buy a bunch just to have them in case I ever have a TV in every room in the house and a massive gaming server under the stairs.

Think of Everspace as FTL in terms of story progression. You are being persuaded by far more powerful ships.

Going through the Dragonfall campaign at the moment. It's good, but hasn't aged particularly well.

If you got Shadowrun on steam you might want to get a refund and get the deluxe version free from the humble store instead.

So far have grabbed:

Rez Infinite
Rayman Legends
River City Ransom Underground

If you have access to a >1080p display I can't recommend the former two enough, they look absolutely sublime! Rayman's surprising in being a 2D game that benefits from higher resolutions, down to how the assets are rendered I guess. Sadly it does stutter occasionally, not sure if that's on my end or the game's. Willing to blame Ubisoft given their PC track record >:|

Thanks to the recent Humble giveaway I now own all three of these. Been curious about the series since reading about the SNES iteration, though it's a bit intimidating to me as someone not that familiar with CRPGs

What hasn't aged well about Dragonfall out of curiosity?
