You still with that girl who made you leave us?

Hahaha  I'm marrying her in a month! I'm always on Steam nowadays but I usually stick to my backlog of single player games. I do love Mumble though on the rare occasion I join.

I thought standard protocol was to login to the main channel and then start talking loudly over everybody else about the latest Nintendo press conference?

Well excuuuuuse me Princess for having a conversation when there's only 4 people unmuted in the channel and nobody is saying anything. If you don't like it, say something at the time and I'll either move or be more considerate. Infact, I rarely converse over people at all. The only time I've ever initiated a conversation is when nobody else is talking.

Say something about it at the time in future then, I can't read minds and if you're sat muted before Dala even joins then maybe you shouldn't sit in the main channel muted for hours and I might think that you're interested in conversing about something.

Let's make a deal. I don't do a nightly Nintendo hour if you don't sit and talk about nothing but cars every single day you're on, yeah?

Agreed. If somebody asks me a vehicle based question Ill keep my mouth shut and defer them to your greater understanding of the subject matter.

Staydead that doesn't seem fair. Myself and Kiezer were talking about cars yesterday as Falsey joined, and then I directly ask falsey a question about cars so as to include him in the discussion. It's not like Falsey joined and immediately said "HEY FOLKS FALSEY HERE HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW CARS FROM ŠKODA, I SURE LOVE THAT BRAND"

You were having a conversation, now did I once tell you to either shutup or strawberry float off like Falsey is trying to tell me now? No, I let you have your conversation then joined in when it was over. I didn't mute or deafen myself either like I could've done, because what's the point in Mumble if nobody is talking about anything. It's more my point that Falsey talks about cars in about the same frequency I talk about Nintendo games/news. I only really talk about Nintendo games/news when Dala is on or you ask me a question, just as Falsey only really talks about cars when you ask him something or he's online with Trelliz.

What I'm trying to say is either he can stop being hypocritical and creating one set of rules for himself and one for me, Either we allow all walks of conversation in the main channel then move to play games, or everyone creates a seperate channel every time they want to talk about anything ever. I personally prefer the first idea and I feel if anyone thinks anyone is talking too much about one subject someone should either say something or ask them politely to move to another channel if they're dominating the conversation rather than just muting and deafening themselves. because by doing that all you're telling people is that they may as well keep talking as they're not listening anymore.

Ive probably spoken more about cars in the past.. 2 weeks than I ever have before. That is because its not an interest many people share, so I tend not to go on about it. As its probably my primary passion (apart from fannies, amirite boiz? BANTAAAA), I like to involve myself in the discussions as they occur.

The only other people who play racing games are Trelliz and this Trelleron asshole who I dont think much of. So I dont speak to anyone about those.

The past couple of weeks Winckle bought a car, and I enjoyed helping him out in that process. I have bought a new car and am very pleased with it. And Kiezer is buying a new car which I am enjoying following.

I challenge you to produce examples of me 'going on' about cars or vehicles outside of these past few weeks.

As for the muting stuff. Who gives a gooseberry fool? The function is there to remove yourself from conversations if you dont want to listen to them. You gain nothing by not removing yourself from a conversation you have no interest in. Its self flagellation.

If you would rather, Ill just move myself to another channel.

For strawberry float's sake guys. Can we not just all agree to move to a sub-channel if we're about to talk over an existing conversation? It's a simple system that works well. It's like you and a mate moving to a different corner of the room at a party if you don't care about the current conversation. Like you would if you were interacting normally with normal people who don't love anime.

To anyone reading: I promise Mumble isn't really this passive-aggressive.

On a side note. Falsey was it the K95 you suggested keyboard wise

& was it the ec1 or ec2 for the zowie mouse?

CS:GO kinda petered out a bit, as did SASR, but we do still play some stuff if you're willing to ask around. Me and Kiezer try to organise games of Arma 3 from time to time. We're really just waiting for the next big online game to tickle us.

If you, or anyone else, wants to organise some games - get on mumble. We've got a dedicated community of 10-15 people who are willing to play whatever, provided you ask.

Mumble's a cool place. If there's anyone who lurks the PC threads, they should come on mumble and have a chat. About to carve this up and add it to the OP by the way. Good post Stugene, thanks!

I believe it was the K95 if you wanted the macro buttons, and the 65 if you didnt.

The mouse, I cant recall off the top of my head. I think the only difference is the size/shape. Ill have to check when I get home which I have.
