That's a shame, it's gotten a lot of praise in its thread.

this is my current pc spec:

Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66Ghz
Gigabyte P35C-DS3R
Crucial DDR3 2x2GB
GTX 760 2GB
Corsair RM Series RM 550 '80+ Gold' 550W Power Supply
Coolermaster HAF 912 Plus Case

want to upgrade the ancient cpu + mobo - what should i get that will fit my other peripherals? budget is about £200 or so.
secondly, what's everyone's experience upgrading the mobo/cpu? is it difficult? do i need to reinstall windows/reformat?

The good news is it only cost you $1 to find this out rather than the £14.99 Steam want. Be interesting to see if this will run on my PC as I gather it is quite CPU intensive (or at least I'd expect it to be).

I've never changed a motherboard, but have changed CPUs in the past. No reason why Windows would need to be reinstalled, but I expect it will carry out a lot of checks and updates at first start up (if the motherboard changes, won't be fussed much about a CPU change).

I decided to give Motorsport manager a punt, I seem to have enough time to play something else as Civ hasn't taken over my life.

I will let you know tomorrow when it's released.

I have watched a few vids and it does look quite good.

Off topic but one the cats just bit through my strawberry floating Sennheiser cable. I thought they were totally strawberry floated as they went really crackly and kept going quiet but after about 10 minutes the right ear sounds fine but the left ear is slightly quieter. I wish I'd never agreed to get these cats. They're cute and everything but I'm sick of them destroying all my expensive gooseberry fool. strawberry floating banana splits! The only small consolation is that she got a shock so hopefully she won't go biting wires anymore.

Recabling them shouldn't be too difficult. Should be a fair few guides online or you can pay someone to do it for you.

3TB drive installed. Currently copying all my old 'D' drive contents to this and then will rename the drives so the 3TB one becomes the "new" 'D'. Hopefully everything on it (Steam etc) just works, then I'll start downloading my other purchases that aren't yet downloaded.

Cheers buddy. I've had a search and ordered a replacement cable. Feel a bit guilty now for saying mean things as they really are cute little companions but still, that was naughty!

Don't blame your cats for your own incompetence to keep a cable away from your cats. Either that or get some toys and y'know actually play with your cat with the proper equipment so your cat won't feel the need to try and find enjoyment in random cables.

Or upgrade your cats to a dog. Mine has never touched any cables.

Dirt 3 complete edition is free on the humble store for the next ~46 hours.

I think StayDead needs to go over and get this tragically under loved cat from Tragic. Just get in a taxi or a bus and go get it.

The Taxis and buses have all been cancelled.

He should give tragic a few grand to compensate for looking after the cat this log though.

After reading a few threads I'm beginning to get a very slight suspicion that Dirt 3 is free from Humble at the moment.
