thats some impressive laziness

I keep my PC on the floor, as there's no room atop the desk for anything other than the screen, speakers, keyboard, printer and some assorted figurines and other clutter.

I'd like to elevate it off the floor somehow; I'm currently using some old cut up two-by-fours, but still it accumulates dust like nobody's business. I wish there were a more effective way.

Mine's on the floor too. I had no idea it was supposed to be elevated. I can't see how one inch would make a huge difference (fnarr fnarr), surely actually cleaning your house is a much bigger factor. Does there have to be airflow underneath?

You could try and buy/make a small drawer to fit the footprint of your PC. That way you'd have some storage for gubbins as well as the elevation.

I have a pc tower trolley thing which both elevates it off the floor and makes it easier to move around on wheels if necessary. You can get them for about a tenner on amazon.

Its so good, it reminds me of Doom 2016 in that its just one mental twitch shooter combat bowl after another, but with amazing level design on top. Theres some great souls-esque design in terms of shortcuts and stuff

Comparisons to two of my favourite games of recent years....yup, I quite badly need this!

It's funny for me, I read about games thinking 'oh, this sounds good' and then it starts taklking about it having Souls aspects and my cock goes all flaccid.

At least ONE other person on this forum isn't in love with Souls games either.

The issue is, people don't understand what souls aspects are. Someone said that Wonderboy had dark souls aspects because you had to time your attacks. What. The. strawberry float.

Level design isn't what I dislike about Souls.

The Souls games are cheap rather than legitimately difficult I find. I gave up on Dark Souls after an instant kill from a dragon that swoops down and torches a bridge you're crossing that you could only possibly avoid/survive if you knew ahead of time that it was coming.

So then you go "Oh, you can't go there because of a dragon." You go back wiser, pick up your souls and run away, then try a different route. Right?

I got further than that in DS1, and still don't rate them, not massively further, but I do remember beating the Gargoyles and also fighting some guy with 2 wolves/dogs in a narrow longish room.

I've also played D'sS and DS3 and well, meh. I don't like the gameplay, it's just not fun or for me entertaining.

Right. I tried a different/valid route to fun by playing something else instead.
