Took delivery of my Logitech G502 mouse yesterday and good god damn it's lovely.



The hand feel is excruciatingly comfortable, like pushing a ball of felt around a cloud, and I don't know what they've done to this sensor but it feels more of extension of my arm than my fat, lumpen hand ever did.

Highly recommended 10/10.

There is one thing that annoys me about Logi mice, they seem to last for ages and you have a hard time to justify an upgrade.

My Logitech mouse has just started playing up and it's only a few months old. The left button keeps acting like the right (i.e. bring up right-click menus) or it acts like you've double-clicked when you've only clicked once. Pretty irritating, so going to see if I can get a new one under warranty.

Looks nice though, mine is definitely due a replacement.

I wish they'd bring back the notebook optical 3000 while they're at it, was cheap but perfect for my claw like hands (I can't fully straighten my fingers).

I still use it now and can't find anything else to replace it, none of the currently available mice of that type have actual proper buttons, they all have the sort which are part of the outer casing and require too much force to press.

Yup, the G502 is replacing a G9 I've had for coming on 7 years now.

Several developers have confirmed the dates as true.

Is Valve fine with those developers confirming the dates? I suppose it doesn't take much to put a game on Steam now so Valve might have a hard time plugging such leaks.

Its confidential when provided to devs, but they have an essentially open door policy so there are so many with that information how are you going to stop it.

Plus that would mean valve doing anything more than the bare minimum.

Never thought of that before, but yeah it's kinda accurate.

Anything particular great on the Steam sale worth looking out for? (Note - I dont't like spending more than about £6). Gamersgate have a good Capcom sale on at the moment, picked up Resident Evil 4 for £3.13 (not played this since the GC so time to see if it is as good as I remember, hopefully it will be at 60fps in HD).

I imagine sorting by top sellers on the £7 and under tab would give a good indication.
