I understand now why you all have so many games on Steam. Just bought Shadow of Mordor for a ridiculous £2.99, meaning I have a total of 3 games on my account, all of which I've not touched. :| / :x

I've now blocked the humble bundle, CDKeys and hotdeals sites on my router.

Remember The Crew is now available as part of Ubi30.

It's a good thing he is unaware that Papers please is only £2.79 on steam as well.

Here are some other sites you should block:

https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/
https://uk.gamesplanet.com/
https://www.bundlestars.com/en/
https://www.greenmangaming.com/

Don't do that, just have some self control, and keep them unblocked to check for deals on games you actually want.

I'm pretty sure we could root around the backs of our digital sofas and find a load of steam/origin/uplay keys for semi-decent games to get you started, check out the key giveaway thread too.

I've selected it but the 24GB download means I need to wait until I get PlusNet at month end.

Like I'm going to do that and not see all those bargains.

It is a novelty at the moment, like I've just discovered food. It is also brilliant that I can bring new games into the house without my wife knowing. :shifty:

Logitech have bought Saitek. Maybe the cost cutting that madcatz did on all the Saitek sticks will be reversed and Saitek will be worth getting again.

A quick follow-up to this story; not the CSGO guys but A Youtuber who did the same thing but with FIFA Ultimate Team has been charged with "promoting a lottery, advertising unlawful gambling and inviting children to gamble".

I hope this is the first of many.

I hope this is the first of many.

"We are paying close attention to the growing popularity of virtual or 'in-game' items, which can be traded, sold or used as virtual currencies to gamble," a Gambling Commission spokesperson told Eurogamer at the time.

"If GB-based players are being invited to gamble with money or money's worth then this requires an operating licence.

"We don't talk about individual websites because it might unjustifiably harm the reputation of individuals or prejudice the outcome of any investigation that may, or may not, be taking place."

This is going to be very interesting. The idea that they'd be forced to act under the gambling commission is hilarious.

Saw that. I initially thought the article was about Tmartn or whatever the strawberry float he's called.

Thats actually brilliant. Especially if they dont strip the account of anything, so if they were a gold glitcher or something you could hit upon the stash of gold they built up or maybe they got banned just after unloading a bunch of it so you get nothing.
