I booted-up, pressed the key to go to bios (I forget which f-key it is on my system), changed the boot priorities, powered down, inserted USB then powered up.

As your computer is new, it may just cycle through drives and USB until it finds something it can boot from, so it may work without going through these steps and you can just stick it in and boot.

Windows is a pain in the ass, you've gotta format the USB as a bootable USB which isn't the easiest of things to do (it's a pain to get working properly). Once you've done that though it works flawlessly.

I'm assuming Ad7 is referring to a shop bought version of Windows 10 then comes on a USB. They're ok to boot from.

Its really easy, ignore all the complication.

Put USB in. Boot PC, open BIOS. In boot order, put USB (sometimes referred to as removable device) over hard disk. Exit BIOS and reboot/resume boot. It will access USB before HDD and therefore execute the boot manager on there and commence the install.

Why can't the general Internet be as clear and helpful as this post? Cheers Falsey.

It is clear, you just have to go through a 20 minute youtube video of someone talking about something completely unrelated to eventually hear him say that. :slol:

Yep, looks like in on for that with them .

The stuff from an indie supplier and overclockers is already here (and my overclockers order had some haribo randomly put inside :datass: ) yet everything I ordered from amazon has been dispatched late and by strawberry floating logistics so i have no way of knowing where it is our when it might arrive. I'm not hanging around an extra 3 hours at work on the of chance someone decides to turn up

New Humble Bundle is up. I don't know any of these games.

https://www.humblebundle.com/nicks-staff-picks-bundle

Legend of Grimrock 2, TIS-1000 and Volume in the first tier. Pay what you want.

Infinifactory, Dungeons 2 and The Secret World in BTA tier.

Grim Dawn in the higher tier.

The Secret World is only the base game and none of the DLC, which for an MMO means there's a LOT you won't be able to do. I wish it was a singleplayer RPG as the combat is awful and undermines the really interesting setting and investigation missions which require real out-of-the-box thinking.

Aren't their delivery hours 7am-9pm? I've had stuff come in the evening a few times before.

Fuuuuuuuck knows, I wasn't able to choose my carrier or anything and naively thought posing the top postage would get a decent carrier.

Really? I thought SSDs didn't exist then. It's probably actually an optional 2.5" floppy disk slot, with a missing face plate somewhere.

Unless it's newish.

This is basically my first PC but Intel, I even upgraded to the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro as well.
