Had a go on the record room tonight, that was an experience. In a lobby full of random people, some guy up on a balcony started shouting to me, so I grabbed a nearby Frisbee and we were throwing it between us. I then went up to where he was and soke other guy suggested we have a game of table tennis (you just talk like you are talking to someone next to you, really odd). We kept missing the ping pong ball so I went and got a basketball and we started knocking that around on the table
Some other guy turned up holding two basketballs as a pair of Tits and said, "want to see my big oranges?" In a squeaky voice, to which someone said, "....what are you, 10?". A bit more strawberry floating about and the guy I played table basketball with came up to shake my hand, so I reached out to do the same and it added him as a friend :o

Bizarre, like being stood next to someone for real.

Vr

Already claimed in under 1hr with no post, don't post them publicly as they get automatically claimed by robots and resold on key sites and they won't say thank you. :(

I thought hiding them in a spoiler box would stop the bots. :fp:

Yeah sadly it's still in the code just a hidden element in the view so the bots still scan for it.

It's the beginning of the end, skynet is here.

For future reference I made a thread specifically for giving away codes for things. Mention in there you have particular games available then give them out via PM.

Steam Sale tomorrow. Danganronpa better be in it, I've been waiting long enough.

What time does this kick off? Nothing I really want but will buy things like Doom if the price is right (about a fiver). What is the name of the newish rythm game? Might give that a go if cheap.

Yes?

6PM but I can't see Doom going that low. It's £14.49 on CDKeys which is a bargain already.

Christmas sales are generally rehashes of the Black Friday/Autumn sale aren't they?

Also I doubt Doom is going to be that low until about a year's time.

I'm sure the Xmas sale used to be the biggest one, I don't know if it still is. Danganronpa hasn't been on sale since a random weekend in October where I missed buying it by seconds so it's overdue a discount.

It was the biggest sale back when there were Flash Sales at least.
Don't try to rush in at 6pm though, Valve will as usual not bother provisioning extra server capacity to deal with the additional load so the service will be virtually unusable until about 7pm.

It's still one of the biggest sales of the year, alongside the summer sale. Steam veterans tend to complain about the current state of sales but it's still a great time of the year, especially for newcomers. I'm already looking forward to buying Disney Infinity 1.0 and I'll pick up some graphically demanding games to test out the 1070 that I've ordered :toot:

I don't see that as a bargain - it is £15 on PS4/XBO which has some resale value on completion, £14 for a download is a bit gooseberry fool in comparison. Also, was £11 odd on CDKeys last week.

But now we have basic consumer rights and a reduction of artificial scarcity to just the sale itself; isn't that worth it?

£5 for Doom? The best game this year and you're only willing to pay £5 :fp:

Depends what you place more value on. In my mind, I'm happy with the 14 hours I got from Doom for £15. On the other hand, I've had almost 100 hours of enjoyment out of Invisible Inc and Prison Architect, which I probably (and shamefully) got for less than a fiver combined. In my mind it's fine because for some reason I'm placing value on the clearly higher production value of Doom, but thinking about it rationally I should have paid the opposite on each game.
