Any chance I can have mod or admin rights for the discord? I'm one of the few who use it most often. There's the peeps who use it for Mario kart Monday and rocket league but those are events that are only 2 times a week.

Might as well have an admin that is active on the server. Is that too bizarre?

It's very fun, but if you asked me if I loved it I'd probably say no, but when I think about it I've actually played the campaign about 4 times with different races. It's weird that it didn't leave more of an impression on me.

Get mods. I reinstalled DC with the Apocalypse mod (adds extra factions and titan weapons) and an additional and must have extra for it was the ability to zone right out.

Thanks for the info! Where's the best place to get mods for this from?

Also, I havn't played an RTS in a while and either this is a lot harder than I remember or I really suck. I am playing as the Tau, normal difficulty and can't beat the highland pass mission for the life of me (where you just have to lead a column of troops through the map destroying all the buildings)

strawberry floating Orcs build up crap like crazy :x I don't remember it being this hard.

Also is it just me or can you not group units up? Seems like a pretty big oversight as I'm constantly needing to scroll and find all my units that are type x to move them to location y. :x

Quite fancy getting back into Diablo 3 again. I've got the base game on Battle.net. Where's the cheapest to get the two expansions?

Turns out I had to go into my "Privacy" settings and toggle a setting to allow applications to access the microphone. Pretty sure it's because I told Cortana to strawberry float off when it asked me if I wanted her to respond to voice commands after the update came through. :fp:

The Steam update went up today, complete with Switch pro controller support!

Just feels right with AM2R  Like that you can give haptic feedback to buttons + sticks too.

The Android steam link beta is amazing. Sitting in bed playing burnout paradise on my tablet with a Bluetooth pad and yeah it's not crisp as at my desk but it's voodoo magic.

Valve is trying to take away our anime tiddies...

https://www.pcgamer.com/valve-appears-t ... eam-games/

Valve appears to be cracking down on sexual content in Steam games, with three separate developers claiming that they've been told their games will be taken off the platform if they don't remove some of their most explicit content.

All of the games have anime-style visuals and are overtly sexual in nature, but their genres vary. Lupiesoft, developer of a visual novel called Mutiny!!, said it had been contacted by Valve about "reports of pornographic content" in its game. The developer says that it makes "sexy games" containing nudity, but that "nothing in Mutiny!! violates [Valve's] guidelines", and that the game's publisher MangaGamer had previously met with Valve to clarify what was and wasn't allowed.

HuniePot, the developer of puzzle game/dating sim hybrid HuniePop, posted a similar message on Twitter, and said it was following up with Valve to resolve the issue. The game features "steamy bedroom scenes" and "eight gorgeous girls each with their own personalities, preferences and style". You can "customize girls' appearances with unlockable outfits and hairstyles! The girls will also dress up for dates! (Or dress down afterwards...)."

Lastly, Tropical Liquor—a colour-matching game about trying to get a girlfriend—has been given a deadline of the end of the month to make changes before it is removed from Steam. The news came from Neko Works, creator of visual novel series Neko Para. It's not listed as the developer for Tropical Liquor (that's Tentacle Games), but Neko Works' lead illustrator Sayori also produced the art for Tropical Liquor.

As Fraser wrote last year, Steam's rules about adult content are often confusing. Consistency is the issue: Valve appears to crack down on some games with graphic sexual content, but leave others alone.

I've reached out to Valve to find out whether this reflects a change in their sexual content policy.

I always find it bizarre how incredibly violent games are fine, but as soon as there's a nipple it's a step too far.

I remember Jeff gerstmann talking recently of these games bypassing steams censorship by putting patches on their site that were literally an empty directory so I'm not surprised they are putting their foot down.

Win10's updates seem far more prone to strawberry floating everything up then previous versions ever were. Or maybe I've just gotten lucky up to now.

So following a pretty decent refund from my bank I've finally ordered a new PC.

Went for:

Ryzen 7 2700X 8 Core (3.7GHz-4.35GHz)
16GB Corsair Vengeance 2666MHz RAM
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1080
250GB M.2 SSD
2TB 7200RPM HDD

I'll be looking to upgrade the HDD at some point (Or just add another), but all in I'm pretty happy with it.

Planning on getting a 4K Monitor and a Vive at some point in the future, but this should hopefully tide me over for a while.

Looking forward to demolishing some of the Emulators my current PC can only dream of running (RPCS3, Cemu, Citra etc).

I'll be sad to move on from my old PC as it's served me well for almost a decade now and it's only recently I've really felt the lack of power.

For a 9 year old CPU (AMD Phenom XII Black I believe) it's handled just about everything I've thrown at it and only really struggled with CPU intensive stuff in the past three years or so.

It will slide into a gentle retirement as my go-to retro emulation machine, hooked up to the living room TV.

Wahey! Kudos sir, that's a beast of a machine you have on the way :toot:
