I like how people who arent ever on mumble organise the weeks events for us.

If you want to play the strawberry floating games, get on mumble, round up some dudes, get in a channel and play it.

But I don't want to talk to you, just shoot you in the face... a lot.

I will defo be up for a bit of TF2, I too have been playing it a boat load. I can understand some of the hate, as a few of the weapons are just stupid, mainly the machina and that new Pyro gun. Though it really does not stop it being tons of fun. Speaking of which I have a spare Machina, anyone got a Soda Popper to trade for it?

Also what is Monday Night Combat? Is it one of these MOBA games? Is it f2p or what?

Im not sure if you're being serious or not, but there really is no point in playing with us if you arent even going to bother to try and integrate into the community.

Super Monday Night Combat is a MOBA but played like a third person shooter - it has all the same bells and whistles - lanes, turrets, jungling etc, but without the stupid mechanics of last hitting etc, and requires aiming rather than RTS macro-skills. It is F2P but in beta, several of us are overflowing with spare invites, me included.

And to be fair, and I say this rarely, Falsey does have a point. We all play on mumble as a social experience as much as anything else, so someone who just joins the servers and nothing more is the same as the very replaceable randomers/pubbies we get all the time, rather than actually part of the group.

I wouldn't buy Hard Reset. I paid £3.75 for it and still felt fobbed off. They clearly didn't have time to do what they wanted to do so polished up what they had. The story is incoherent and the whole thing feels like an opening act, I was shocked when the credits started rolling. There are tonnes of better corridor shooters than that.

Nah I was just joking, mainly as Falsey seems to be filled with rage. Oh and MNC sounds interesting, and something I would need to be on Mumble for, as I guess it will need a lot of explaining.

I was going to say MW3, but that's not a "better" corridor shooter.

I'm attempting to organise AN event, to which Mumble players are cordially invited, and may choose to participate - or not - at their leisure.

I'm working under the assumption that those who want to play Counter-Strike again will be doing precisely that.

Ive lost count of how many times this has been explained to people before - but most events are sorted out around 7pm on the night.

I dont think Ive seen a single one take off after meticulous planning on here.

You don't need any authorisation.

Yeah, it aint really worth the price. Its fun for an hour but i dont think ive ever seen a more repetitive game in my life. Play the demo and youve seen everything it has to offer.

Really? Oh. :(

I'd heard fairly decent things about it. Sounded above-average, but not great. Maybe when it's in a Steam sale. :shifty:

I've never seen an event with meticulous planning on here, and in any case, anyone who knows me knows that I don't do "meticulous".

Alice: Madness Returns is £6.50 over on Green Man Gaming.

Worth playing?

I dunno, it's a tricky one. The art style is lovely, really pretty and it's beautiful to look at but the actual gameplay (once you've played for a couple of hours) is extremely bland and repetetive. No new gameplay elements are introduced at all after the first hour or so and it is a long game. The levels definitely out stay their welcome too much and haven't bothered finishing it yet as I just got so bored.
