Sounds just like the kind of thing I can't be bothered with.

I didn't get along with it either.

Brer will be along shortly to call us a bunch of bitchfaces or something. He loved that gooseberry fool.

I wouldn't buy Hard Reset. I paid £3.75 for it and still felt fobbed off. They clearly didn't have time to do what they wanted to do so polished up what they had. The story is incoherent and the whole thing feels like an opening act, I was shocked when the credits started rolling. There are tonnes of better corridor shooters than that.

Yeah, it aint really worth the price. Its fun for an hour but i dont think ive ever seen a more repetitive game in my life. Play the demo and youve seen everything it has to offer.

Really? Oh. :(

I'd heard fairly decent things about it. Sounded above-average, but not great. Maybe when it's in a Steam sale. :shifty:

There is going to be a Hard Reset: Extended Edition coming out next month which adds 5 new play areas, so it might be better holding out for that. There is a strong possibility that it will be DLC for people who already bought the game. I actually really liked it. It's an old school shooter though, and I had fun with it. The weapon upgrade system was great and it looked lovely.

Pfft I have the greatest keyboard ever...

Spillproof, waterproof, and dishwasher safe.

I got it when my mom spilled a drink on the last keyboard and wrecked it, and I got it for about $20 because they were having a sale since it's so plane, but I really don't see the point for the majority of those extra buttons they add onto high end keyboards.

I hate extra keys, Im all about minimalism.

Currently using a black apple style keyboard but the keys often stick and whilst its decent to type on it struggles a bit with CS. The K60 is a piece of pressed aluminium with mechanical keys and no extra gooseberry fool (bar the usual media controls which I wont use) and the red keys are optional.

Dunno why, but Mass Effect 1 would never launch. Since swapping HDD for SSD and downloading a fresh copy, it's now launching without issue. :D

EDIT: Seems ME1 does not support the 360 controller. This is the type of game that would just feel plain awkward on M&KB.

It's really not. 2 only seems awkward because it's a cover fire FPS with fisher price rpg tagged onto it.

Didn't Bioware change the U.I. so it was far more intuitive with the keyboard? I seem to remember the inventory management in the original Xbox 360 version being bloody terrible.

Well, MNC went off really well, didn't it  Seriously people, if you want to play something, at least contact someone on steam/mumble, otherwise we all play CS by default.

Speaking of which, I think I'll be taking a break from CS, I'm too tired in the evening to actually be any good, and my performance of late has been awful. Consequently, I'd rather, totally un-ironically, spend the time in the evenings getting through my backlog of other games or playing STO/KF. Getting on average 0 points every game while playing what is turning into "browse the internet with the occasional 15/20 seconds of CS before being one-shotted by someone right in front of me who I don't even see" is beginning to get very, very boring.

I was online for a while at about 8-8:40, but since no-one else on my friends list seemed to bother, I went back to SW:TOR.

Up for giving it another bash tonight, anyone?

Even Rocky had a montage.

To be honest my patience with games is unbelievably short these days. Psychonauts is the only game I can remember playing where I wasn't wondering when the hell it's going to end.

"Repetitive" puts me right off games and to be honest I think Tragic's threshold for tedium is far above mine, judging by what he plays (no offence).

Not joining mumble whilst attempting to organise a multiplayer game is like going the park with your mates and trying to organise a game of football solely by passing written notes between each other.

As an addendum to that informative post, you should be careful about using it in multiplayer games, it has been said to trigger certain anti cheats because of how it works in memory. But on single player games, go hog wild.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

FXAA doesnt work in all games does it?

Its a rather handy tool in that it can load custom configs in a similar way to ENB so you can really jazz up some old games if you can be arsed.
