New episode on in 10 mins. Richard Bellars who was in the pilot returns this week to do a different trick, and next week Michael Vincent is back.

Edit: That kid was awful. Not in a billion years were those tricks ever going to fool Penn and Teller. :fp:

Some good acts tonight (at later time of 9pm). Michael Vincent returns to show off some more of his card skills. Cubic Act do a pretty amazing routine with a floating box. Morgan and West do victorian magic, and Nick Einhorn who I don't recognise the name.

Looking forward to this tonight as naff all else on and also got the old man into it when he came up.

Has anyone else been watching Dynamo on Watch? Thoughts? Some of his tricks seem a little easy to work out. And what did people think about the end of the 2nd episode on Thursday when he was at Rio Ferdinand's party?

He may or may not be a talented magician but squanders it by doing tricks that rely on camera trickery and stooges.

Good show today I thought. As good as that guy's card tricks are they're never going to fool Teller.

That was a brilliant episode, the first time where there wasn't a single bad act and all of the tricks fooled me, although I think I know how Michael Vincent did his now after thinking about it.

I'd never seen Penn & Teller's nail gun trick before either, so that was great to see.

I assume you mean the box

I think that woman is strong enough to climb up the pole and also a human leg/body.

Also the guys using Ross to guess what he's seeing, if you look at the guy next to him his hand moves position on every card

Watched the repeat of last Saturday's show tonight, and it again proved my point. Both Michael Vincent and the French group with the cube deserved to get to perform in Las Vegas yet the show's stupid dynamic prevents them.

Yet an incredibly boring and probably very gimmicky trick performed by the two Victorian guys manages to win something. Stupid.

Yep, the whole competiton is stupid, but it's good to see great magic on prime-time TV.

Most definitely, it's a welcome change from making do with seeing the odd gem of a magician on something like Britain's/America's Got Talent. It's just a shame that P&T have to admit that, say, Michael Vincent is one of the greatest close-up artists they've ever seen but 'bye bye', yet something as dull and the Victorian guys gets through.

I don't think Jonathan Ross helps, to be honest.

I agree, but at least despite them practically saying "you'll never be able to fool us" they still invited him back for a second show.

I just ignore the competition and enjoy the magic. At the very least the 'fool us' gimmick encourages magicians to perform their best tricks or even attempt something new.

Great trick by the Swedish guys, though I thought it was a fairly obvious switch when the guy took the folded card from the tongs into his left hand.

Jonathan Ross is such a smug banana split when P&T don't quite get it right. strawberry floating infuriating.

Yeah I thought that too but they insist there was no switch, so that move must have been put in purely to misdirect Penn and Teller.

It was good to see that this guy is on next week :)
