My terrible memory means I don't remember a lot of the story beats now, but I do remember it was an absolutely fantastic game. I was playing that game around xmas time, and the scene with the winter feast felt lovely.

Definitely seems like something that is better (for me) on Switch.

It's annoying, as Gamepass often gets games like this - or indie games - but I just find them so much better on handheld.

You were arguing against Xbox releasing a handheld….

Best game of the largely awful showcase and it does not even get a proper announcement.

I don't think MS should release a handheld - that doesn't mean I am against handheld gaming in general.

I don't think a dedicated handheld Xbox make business sense for MS - it, would be hard to make a success of it and it isn't where they should focus their energy. MS are trying to get Xbox content on anything with a screen, so why do I want a £300 handheld replacing that? MS's problems this gen aren't hardware-related. No-one is looking at MS and thinking "we need more hardware".

Putting stuff like Pentiment on the Switch makes way more sense. They'll probably get a sale out of me there, whereas it would have either been a "freebie" on Gamepass or never getting around to play it.

You’ll never guess what all the pissing and moaning is actually about…

It’s because they had the audacity to put the PlayStation 5 version first in the graphic.

Intrigued by this. Is it essentially an interactive story, like an illustrated novel that changes depending on choices you make, or is there any more to it?

It's mostly linear, you have to make decisions based on limited information, it does interesting things with that concept.
