Just got a dispatch text, so all good! Fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow. Although I've had 3 parcels go missing on their way to me recently. Thieving posties!

This is seriously brilliant. Like, current trajectory will be a contender for my favourite game of all time. The more mature tone is great, the dungeon crawling is a huge step up, and it's just brimming with smart design choices and endlessly cool style.

The writing is on point too. A few times I've whispered some sarcastic responses to myself only to see them literally pop up as dialogue options for the protagonist a moment later. And I've found myself exclaiming, aloud, at the bastardry of the early antagonist. It's certainly drawing me into the role.

I think the steelbook is the standard edition until it sells out.

Just gone to bed with the game, using remote play on vita. It works really well. Makes me wish for a native vita edition, so i could play on the bus.

Whenever I inevitably crack and get a PS4 for P5, I suspect this is how I'll mostly play it. P4G was wonderful as a portable game.

Ah, man, I didn't know you had to name your team. Trying to come up with something that doesn't sound like some shitty team from The Apprentice.

15 hours on the clock (plus another 1 or 2 from deaths) and I've just beaten the first dungeon/boss. I missed the last safe room first time round, which made it really difficult to get back to the boss after leaving the calling card. Loving it so far, although I'm still missing the characters from P4.

Those reviews have me intrigued. Can someone explain this game to someone who has never played any of the series?

Do I need to start elsewhere or can you dive in to this one?

Dungeon crawler/turn-based RPG/visual novel/waifu simulator where you play as a school kid and have to balance day-to-day stuff like going to school, working, socialising with friends with going into dungeons at night. You collect things called Personas which are basically Pokemon that you can use during battles.

It's like Final Fantasy where every game is its own separate thing so you won't have trouble following the story if you've never played one before.
