When you actually get to the point where you're infiltrating it properly as opposed to testing out your abilities it picks up. At least I assume you're counting getting out of the dungeons as the first trip etc.

As for the anxiety, I was thinking of restarting the palace run so I could do it in 2 days rather than 3 but decided, strawberry float it, I'm not going to stumble on the perfect route anyway so I'll settle for a 90% run instead. As long as you're always doing something with your time, even just reading a book to boost stats, then it's not wasted.

I think trying to perfect route a Persona game is the wrong way to play. Having more stuff to do than time allows, and having regrets that you had to turn things down and let some things go, that's just life.

I'd rather they made it *impossible* to even come close to maxing everything, but i understand there are a lot of completionists in their fanbase that would have a meltdown.

Well, the two main things at this point are that you've barely seen anything of the cast, and one major part of the daily routine that isn't in 4 (but is in 3) has yet to be introduced. Not that I think the second part will blow anyone away, I just thought it was neat that they put both in this one.

gooseberry fool, I'm 30 hours in and I haven't even reached the date Atlus banned people from streaming past.

I see. So I'm still basically in the tutorial portion then? Feels like it's been going on for ages

It took me 3 trips and I think I need to do 4th trip anyway, but I still have lot of time left. I'm just anxious as hell at start of Persona 3/4 and now 5 but I'm sure once things get rolling I'll be at ease how I do day-to-day tasks.

Also wanted to echo on something, I'm not looking for perfect playthrough - far from that. If I wanted to do that I'll do that on NG+ or something, I just have that thing where I feel like I'm wasting days by doing nothing or strawberry floated up

Christ, the introduction battle to the third palace was somehow harder than the boss battle in the second palace for me.

So having finished Nier, one of the best JRPGs I've played since...well FFVII, I'm jonesing for another. I have 2 questions :

i) Where's best to buy this at the mo?
ii) I heard it might get considerably cheaper once the none steelbook version hits, any idea when that might be?

The steelbook was just the first printing from what I can tell, but there was apparently an issue with one of the batches so it might leak over into "1.5st edition". Shouldn't be long, regardless.

That's an hilarious video. Proves anything can be made better with a bit of Persona love.

Feels like you can go ages without being able to save in this game. Sometimes I'm completely skipping entire dialogue scenes just to hurry it up because I need to go and do something else.

Oh, and wtf @ Morgana being male

Blimey! It gained excellent reviews but I'm surprised such a niche title has grabbed the top spot. It fully deserves it but game sales must be pretty low this week!

I'm at the third dungeon now and I'm really loving it so far. Sure, the delays are annoying but I can see it paid off in the end.

On 26~27 hour mark.

How the hell can you already be at the third dungeon after 26 hour's. I only just finished the first dungeon at around 20 hours.
