Yeah, I read about that aspect, Mafro. It seems that the developer thought that screenshots could give unwanted clues to other players. Seems a bit of a shame as the Share feature is one of the great things about PS4 gaming... I hope that kind of thinking doesn't catch on!

Which is hilarious when you consider how long the game's been out in Japan.

The disclaimer to people looking to stream is hilarious, it says something along the lines of YOU MUST NOT TALK ABOUT OR SHOW *name of character* outright telling people that there's some twist involving them

This is pretty good, the presentation is really slick for everything. Downside is that it's accompanied by some very odd translated lines and stupid gooseberry fool like one background student still randomly saying Senpai when that gooseberry fool really should be translated.

The opening is completely on rails but it's not as bad as persona 4 where the first two hours were just advancing through dialogue.

Can someone give a quick run down on dungeon fatigue? Had to bail from the first palace half way through due to SP issues and an enemy was critting me almost every 1/3 hits.

Is that related to the fatigue system or was the enemy just being a bitch?

Isn't in this one

You can do the dungeon in one day but you then get told to go back to reality when you get to the treasure room and have to do the boss fight the next day.
I blew all my items in the safe room before the boss room but it turned out it was only there to serve as a quick travel point for the boss fight on another day :x

:| *Really?* No option for deaf gamers?

Meh strawberry float it, if it's not important to plot then I guess I can live. At least they subtitled the anime FMV cutscenes.

Did they just totally undership this for launch or something then? Amazon are claiming they won't have stock for another month. Simply Games stopped taking preorders for it weeks before launch and the Game Collection didn't even have it listed on their site for preorders back when I checked. Saw someone on GAF who had their PS3 preorder cancelled say that they were told many places didn't receive their full allocation of that version and it wasn't in production any more, that's understandable since it's for a last gen console but the PS4 version shortage is a bit weird.

There was apparently a manufacturing issue with the Steelbook. A mass cancellation of preorders on Amazon a while back mistakenly labelled it as "dangerous goods" (everyone affected got it for free as compensation), and upon contacting them about it at the time, someone was told "the entire inventory Amazon had received from the manufacturer had a major defect".

Because the steelbook edition is all of the launch window stock, there are no resupplies until the plastic-box edition starts production.

I'm not really liking this as much as Persona 4 Golden so far. Much preferred the setting and story of that game, and the supporting cast in this aren't as likeable. Seems to follow exactly the same structure as P4G too and I was expecting something a bit different given the level of praise it's gotten and people saying it's one of the best JRPGs ever. Love the overall style of the game though and I am enjoying it.

Really miss playing it on a handheld too. Would have been perfect on Switch.

I'm at 3F of first dungeon and I'm already feeling anxious about what to do. :slol:

I think I'll see if I can't adapt my P3/P4 plan and finish the dungeon quickly so I have rest of time free to do social links and such.

You need at least 3 trips to each palace to beat them, but I think you can do the first one in just 2 (unlikely you have the SP for that, though)

Well, the two main things at this point are that you've barely seen anything of the cast, and one major part of the daily routine that isn't in 4 (but is in 3) has yet to be introduced. Not that I think the second part will blow anyone away, I just thought it was neat that they put both in this one.

gooseberry fool, I'm 30 hours in and I haven't even reached the date Atlus banned people from streaming past.
