I'm at the boss of the 2nd dungeon. I think I have 24 hours on my save. Seems much tougher than P4 so far.

I was away from home at the weekend, so I dusted off Persona 4 on the Vita. I'm now hooked on that, so I'm splitting my time between both games. 75 hours in to P4 and Nanako'sjust been kidnapped. :(

That's what my save file says, I'm playing on Normal and I even took my time as I went in and out of second dungeon five times and also grinded a little.

I can even take pic of my save file if you like haha

I hit the first safe room in the 3rd palace after about 33 hours or so.

Spent a bit of time running Mementos, though, and scouring all the palaces.

I just let Mementos requests pile up. It tracks pretty far below the difficulty and EXP gains of the Palaces, so I don't find it really worth the effort of visiting regularly. Plus that music is so dreary.

Try and start the Shogi player Confidant as early as possible too. You'll need to grind Charm until you're suave, but the reward is game-changingly huge.

Reward spoilers, if you want to know how: It lets you switch your party members during battle

Persona 3 and 4 DLC packs are out today. Anyone know if the P4 pack comes with 'Reach Out To The Truth' or 'Time To Make History' for the battle theme and if the boss theme swaps to 'I'll Face Myself'?

Think I saw that Truth is in the Dancing All Night and is a remix, and haven't seen ANYTHING about boss battles changing.

I only do it because I really like Mementos and it's actually pretty decent for getting money; but yeah I do agree on difficulty/EXP. I just do it once or twice after I've beat the dungeon, I don't think there's any missable requests so it's not main goal for now.

I do wonder though...

If it's actually needed in main quest at some point because isn't it one of Morgana's main goals? Will have to wait and see either way.

Mementos has pretty obvious groups of quests, for example the first area of it has everything up to the Fortune Tellers request which you have to do to start her confidant (which is the best one in the entire game because of the rank 7 reward).

I just couldn't get past Madarame, no matter what i did. Ended up having to drop the difficulty down. The shame!

Edit: i think i should have gone to the Airsoft shop and upgraded my weapons and armour before tackling the palace.

I'm taking a few days off from this to stop myself burning out on it.

Looking forward to getting back to it, but 50+ hours in just over a week (immediately after rinsing Zelda and Horizon at 35 and 50 hours respectively) is me hitting a limit I didn't even know I had.

I stopped at the start of the fifth dungeon a couple of days ago, the pounding music combined with a character being really annoying made me realise I'd hate the game if I didn't give it a bit of a break.

At what stage of the game does the first likeable character get added to your party?

Really enjoying this but Morgana's constant "You can't do that now, you're too tired/ you've got a big day tomorrow" is bloody annoying.

It's probably the most annoying thing in the game, especially when you want to make lock picks or coffee or something. Another reason why I'm not enjoying this anywhere near as much as Persona 4 Golden. Apparently there's something that you can unlock that lets you do stuff even when Morgana says that but I've not got it yet and dunno where it is.

Fact: it is currently impossible to buy this game. Anywhere. That is all.

:o I might have to look into that....

Thing is P4 pulled the same trick although it was your character thinking it internally, which is a lot less annoying than that sodding cat nagging you!

False: you can buy it on PSN.
