Dungeon crawler/turn-based RPG/visual novel/waifu simulator where you play as a school kid and have to balance day-to-day stuff like going to school, working, socialising with friends with going into dungeons at night. You collect things called Personas which are basically Pokemon that you can use during battles.

It's like Final Fantasy where every game is its own separate thing so you won't have trouble following the story if you've never played one before.

Amazon mailing me the day of release to tell me they've had an "unexpected delay" and the order will now be shipped a month later

Wankers, I could've ordered from somewhere which actually had it in stock if they told me that they didn't have enough stock back when I placed the order and now they're all sold out.

Now to see how fast my PS3 can download a game/how much I'll have to delete to get room for the install!

Like Friday I think, early enough that I thought I'd at least know if it was out of stock before release.

I pre-ordered in January with Amazon and it only got dispatched today

Never preorder games from Amazon.

Amazon never despatch massively before release. If I get it dispatched the day before launch I count myself lucky.

I wonder if we're seeing issues with stock (it's sold out everywhere) because Deep Silver decided to make the initial release in low numbers because of it being a steelbook edition... if that's the case then a) that's dumb and b) how they hell is it they didn't have basic plastic box editions ready to ship for when the steelbook sold out? DUMB!

My Persona 5 is apparently due for delivery from Amazon today, but Deep Silver in general are all over the place. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and 7th Dragon III Code VFD went through similar issues going OOS everywhere besides marketplace sellers stupidly quickly after release (on release for some retailers). Stock for those two only started filtering through again recently, three plus months later. Hopefully a Persona 5 standard edition won't take as long, but I'm definitely picking up my Atlus and Sega stuff from Deep Silver on release, rather than wait.

1. ALWAYS carry books you haven't finished reading.
2. Be sure to grind out your personality stats early on.
3. Make sure you can hear the game clearly before you head in to watch a movie

Will the last one make more sense when I'm playing the game?

The movie theatre is the only place with dialogue not subtitled, so if you've been playing on low volume, you might miss some incredible stuff.

Yeah, I read about that aspect, Mafro. It seems that the developer thought that screenshots could give unwanted clues to other players. Seems a bit of a shame as the Share feature is one of the great things about PS4 gaming... I hope that kind of thinking doesn't catch on!
